Re Ben Strevens' sending off. Final Score stated it was for "Spitting" which would be a 3 match ban. Twitter suggested "Dissent". Any one know for sure?

"I had a veggie burger before the game today, & have to say it was the best burger I have tasted.... at a football ground. Really enhanced by the extra vegs & pickle." That's vegetables, with extra vegetables and a side dish of vegetables Hope the football was more exciting.

"I see we are bringing in 3 new players. Good"
I heard SD say that his aim was to bring in 3 or 4 players. He didn't say this was a done deal. He explained the competition for good players, so let's not raise our expectations too much, please.

"Premier League football really is going to eat itself one day and i'll laugh my nuts off when it does go pop." 1974 - I made a rare sortie into "enemy territory" to watch Hendon vs Newcastle United at Vicarage Road. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gA0kMme_5pcIf they get their way on the FA Cup, watch how quickly the idea of no promotion to or relegation from the Premier League raises its ugly head again. Welcome to the NFL. In the middle of a June night Chelsea, unable to get a new home agreed, will re-locate in 200 trucks to Birmingham.

Anything this morning Taylov? Be nice to give those travelling on the coach something a bit encouraging! Just get back in so sorry I missed you. Still looks OK for tonight - There was this interesting post on the Heed Forum at 1pm today - "A very tough game tonight. Eastleigh are a lot better than their form suggests. We let them bully us, they will turn us over
Lastly what were the conference thinking making this a midweek fixture? Got to feel for the poor spitfire fans having to travel up here for a Tuesday night game - crazy"

They have a forum "Heed Army" but you have to be a member. I am (have been for 3 years). There's no discussion of the game being off as of 11.45 pm Monday but according to Newcastle BBC weather the problems may arise overnight (snow) and tomorrow morning (frost).

I thought that the results yesterday were not too bad, it could have been a lot worse and we would the have finished about 11th, so let's get stuck in, Gateshead is a long journey but I'm sure we can get back on track Tuesday night, quietly confident. My thoughts, too. A decent turn round in form and I can see no reason why we can't be there or thereabouts by May. I'm a firm believer that the play-offs are a 100% lottery. Get there and we've as much chance as any team. In the meantime Gateshead is looking a bit iffy for Tuesday with a lot of snow in the local forecast overnight tonight and on Monday.

Its a real shame that they are having this as 11am on a Wednesday, when not many fans will be able to make it. Who can attend the AGM?
