If kept apart in the semi final draw of The Vase, there is a good chance of it being Salisbury v Hereford at Wembley. Also that day will be The FA Trophy Final as a double header. Now lo and behold, the FA has decided that as the National team will be playing in Manchester that afternoon, they plan to show the game on the big screens at Wembley in between the two Finals. Why would anyone want to be in Wembley Stadium around 6 hours...more if the games go to extra time and penalties? Do they seriously think England fans will turn up to watch the game on their screens? I've been to the last three Vase Finals, they were a good Saturday out in London all day and night, returning home on the 10-38pm. Now its a Sunday, will probably be subjected to Engineering works, and three games to watch, I won't bother. The FA have killed Non League showpiece day, all because England are playing a friendly!!!!

Salisbury & Hereford in a potential Wembley final less than 3 years after they both went pop. I cant make my mind up as to whether that's a good or bad thing for English football....What does it say to the clubs that manage their finances well? Cheats prosper?

Really Taylov?!
20-25k for Hereford v Salisbury?!
I can't see Wembley selling out for the trophy/vase combination.

If Hereford and Salisbury actually get to the final, the muck really will hit the fan. The FA were responsible for placing both teams one level lower than they should have been, which would have meant neither of these teams would have won anything. The FA also played a major part in the demise of both clubs. If the had applied their own rules with regard to the Fit and Proper Persons test, both clubs would have survived even if that would have been one step below the Conference National.

How will the muck hit the fan?
Both clubs would love it And it would be a big game to signal they are "back" as I sure Hereford & Salisbury would like to think.
The Fa would also love it as it would bring in a decent gate compared to the 5000 or so the vase normally gets.
Probably be looking at a gate of 50-60k for "finals day" which they could then herald as a great success.
2 different cup finals at the same venue on the same day? All sounds very tinpot to me, reminds me of tyro league under 12s football.
Maybe there could be footballs first "four quarters scarf" with all the finalists on it? :-)

The muck will hit the fan because several clubs at step 5 have already complained about these 2 teams being in the competition in the first place. Who can blame them. This is just another cock up by the FA. I am not so sure the FA are as stupid as they appear and I and many other people believe that they tried to rectify the situation with the early round draws that were held behind closed doors. The chances of Salisbury being drawn in succesive rounds against both of the southern section 2015 semi finalist are about 2500 to 1. When FIFA are disbanded in a couple of months time, someone should take a long hard look at the incompetant shambles at the FA.

Hereford v Salisbury in the Semi, only 1/3 chance of that outcome and they couldn't even get that right.

Hereford v Salisbury
Bowers & Pitsea or Kidlington v Morpeth Town or Bristol Manor Farm
Shame they weren't kept apart as I'd like somebody to knock out Morpeth to stop the domination of The EBAC Northern League Division 1 winning it yearly (6 of the last 7 seasons, Sholing stopped it being all 7) Morpeth are the reining champions of that league...declining to go up like they all do, and have only played 18 league games, quite how they are going to play 24 league games in 10 weeks looks interesting, especially if they make it to the two legged semi-final as well they'll need to play 3 games a week!!!!! Reminds me of all those games Guernsey had a few years ago when they reached the Vase semi final...even Le Tiss signed on and played to help them out, if memory serves me right, wasn't it 23 games in 32 days or something?

Rumoured that The Vase Final to kick off at noon because The FA want to screen England's game on the big screen at 2pm with The Trophy Final at 4pm... Stupid....what about fans travelling to London early morning....and late going home!!!!
