Tranmere's twitter this afternoon suggest only 2 coaches for certain and a third still not confirmed. Bit different from 600 to 1000.

Solihull Moors have definitely been in the Conference North for at least 3 seasons, maybe more.

We HAVE to win on Saturday. Remember that we are effectively another point in arrears of Tranmere and Braintree because of of our poor goal difference.

Wrexham's disaster tonight really ends their hope of a POP, leaving just 3 teams fighting over the 5th place, Tranmere, Braintree and us. Win our remaining games and the place is ours. Anything less and it will depend on how our rivals do.

Sunny, you are right. Just had a call from Jill who arrived at 6.45 and found someone already in our designated packing spot. I'm crocked (again) but hope to be back on Saturday.

Was confused (more than usual) by a tweet this lunchtime from the club - "Covers have just gone on. Pitch is holding up well." Does that mean it wasn't covered during the heavy rain overnight and this morning?

Possibly the game of his career.

If we fail to make the playoffs one would have to ask how many points were lost to losing players because of our dreadful record of red/yellow cards. I have never thought that we're a dirty side - but the tally this season is dreadful.

Well we won't be seeing much more of him this season.

What is wrong our players? Josh Payne off - straight red.
We have the worst disciplinary record in the whole of English football (top 6 divisions).

Question of a points deduction at the top of the National league south. This from SUFC -
"We can confirm that the club has been charged by the Vanarama National League with fielding an ineligible player in the 3-0 win at St Albans last month. The charge concerns the appearance of Jamie Slabber as a substitute, with the allegation that the relevant forms concerning his loan from Hemel Hempstead had not been lodged with all the relevant authorities prior to the game and he was therefore ineligible to play, although the paperwork had been submitted to the league on time and the league had approved the loan. Jamie came on with twenty minutes to go when U’s were already 3-0 up. The club is not admitting the charge and will request a personal hearing."
Nuneaton got a 3-point deduction last month for exactly this.

The main result in Braintree went for us! It is now officially completely in our own hands :-) Dover went against us & I'm not sure how relevant Grimsby result really was, hopefully they had a bruising game anyway! Still in there fighting and I suspect we still will be when we play Tranmere on the 23rd. None of the teams around us seem to be capable of a winning streak.

All losing! So far, so good. 45 mins - Shots 2-0 up against the Fishy Folk. 1-0 to the home teams in the other 2 games of interest.
