We played them last season in April in a midweek as well!
Won 2-0 at their place, hopefully an omen :-)

Bizarrely although in a worse position this season I think they are a better team now, they will also have a crowd well behind them tonight , last season there was no noise and a crowd of about 800. A draw would be great

Don't think we should be too unhappy with that result. It was never going to be an easy game with Halifax needing a win, so on to the BIG game on Saturday.

Looking at the stats from the game a draw was all we could expect. Saturday really is a cup final as Tranmere still have a chance after tonight's result.

Didn't even deserve a point last night. It would be easier to count the amount of times we managed to string 3 passes together than the amount of times we gave the ball away. I think we managed 1 shot on target all game. The Yemi Tubbs partnership does not work looked far better when Jack came on up top. Need to turn up on Saturday or we could be in trouble.

Four games away since March 5th and just one goal to show for it, a free kick at Torquay after 4 minutes. Its been that sort of bonkers season.

Was hoping we would win last night, so that we went 2 points above Braintree and more inportantly generate a better goal difference than them aswell in the process. Then we could probably afforded to draw against either Tranmere or Woking, with a win likely to have seen us home. Now we probably need to beat Tranmere on Saturday just to stay in it. It all goes down to the last game now. The "realist" side of me says, Braintree will win both of their games and will outscore us in both games too. If we mess up against Tranmere, we will only have ourselves to blame for not finding a strike partnership to score the goals that turns these 0-0's into wins. Hats off to our defence btw, who despite letting opposition have chances in games, they are not scoring them & we are not conceding many at all....we need that to continue, in order to give ourselves a chance of winning 1-0 on Saturday. My positive side, says that our defence might actually conjure up some goals between them (we have had a very poor defender goals returns for 3 seasons now).....but i have a feeling Parts, Evans, Turley & Greener will be very significant players in these next 2 games, at the other end of the pitch.

I don't see Braintree winning Saturday at Wrexham. How good the Halifax point was will be put in proper perspective Saturday. I am going for a 1-1 Saturday for us and a 2-1 win for Wrexham over Braintree. We will then need to win at Woking to clinch it - and BTW, if it does turn out like that, don't expect that to be easy, Woking will give us Jack. They would love to end our play off hopes.
If Braintree do win their last two games, they'll finish above us and IMO will have deserved to do so.
