Big game now which 'IF' we win could put us in the top half of the table if Maidstone lose away to Tranmere. I'm going for a 1-1 as I don't ever push my luck. We've got Fylde soon as well, all teams in our mixing bowl so to speak. Tell you what a couple of decent results & others going for us we could start to look like we've got an outside chance of the play offs. It has been known. Maidstone haven't won in 6 in the league, with 2 losses and 4 draws but with lots of goals - including a 4-4. So with football being the predictable game it is I'm going for a 1-0 to us.

Spot on ‘mystic’ Bomber!
Delighted with that the result. Also we’ve now given away 4 penalties in 4 games - had to save one eventually.

I'm going for 1-2 to Eastleigh 'IF' Woking lose or draw at home to Tranmere & we win, we jump over Woking which leaves us paddling along in mid table mediocrity, which is better than it was before xmas. I've predicted a 3-1 for us, hopefully Williamson back with 2 and Matthews with a goal to celebrate being with us until the end of the season! but I'd agree with michaelefc that it would be nice to finally see us get a clean sheet

Great picture! I thought he got booked for diving but honestly how can the ref have missed that challenge? but then he also didn't stop the game for the head injury to Matthews before Woking nearly scored.

Come on guys, give it some time please? Give the new gaffer a chance it won’t happen overnight but at least we’re getting entertainment! Mathews and Miley both starting in midfield is great and the two big lads up front have “suddenly “ shown some form. I'm prepared to give AH time but as he said post match, given the age and experience of our players they need to responsibility for their defending which has been shocking this season - we seem to need to score at least 3 to even be in with a chance of winning at home.

An entertaining enough game but another completely shambolic defensive performance. It’s getting rather boring walking away from the Silverlake trying to pretend a late equaliser gives you the same feeling as winning, I’d have taken a 1-0 over 2-2 all day long.

As Stew5018 and unknownquantity have said AH definitely has the credentials to be given the job and to be a success, I’m prepared to give him the chance.
I’ve made my feelings on RH fairly clear but let’s move on by saying thanks for turning it around last season and wish him all the best in the new role.

I'd much rather they had one really entertaining training session rather than four dull & turgid sessions a week.

Obilye came out with Shaw to warm up (run up and down the pitch a few times) before the team did. I'd guess with Wood back he was dropped as he's been covering at LB and our CB partnership seems pretty set with Howe & Boyce
I can understand why you'd say RH doesn't rate him, as he was put on transfer list start of season but then he has played a fair few games since - out of necessity or a change of heart by RH im not sure?

Your welcome Will! I’m sure we can prolong the agony that is watching us under RH this season until the new year.

Applying zero logic or reasoning and going against our current form, I’m going to predict a 2-1 win.

Nice to see the same "it's all about entertainment" arguement appear on the 35th thread in a row Agreed! It's starting to remind me of the classic Monty Python 'Argument Clinic' sketch BUT I sense a breakthrough is imminent, given another 121 threads I reckon they'll just agree to disagree.

Christopher and Michaelefc I have always ‘got real’ and supported the club - as you put it. I don’t expect instant success but it is painful to watch RH leading us to relegation, especially as the style of play is exactly what MA served up.
As a genuine question to you both, when would you get rid of RH? Is it after relegation is confirmed?
