Big game now which 'IF' we win could put us in the top half of the table if Maidstone lose away to Tranmere. I'm going for a 1-1 as I don't ever push my luck. We've got Fylde soon as well, all teams in our mixing bowl so to speak. Tell you what a couple of decent results & others going for us we could start to look like we've got an outside chance of the play offs. It has been known.

Think we need to wind it in a bit. We're on a bloody good run, especially compared to the way we have been all season, however we have beaten the 2 teams at the bottom of the league, before that we drew with a team on a bloody awful run and drew with the team bottom of the league both of those had 10 men for a long period. Now we have two games coming up against teams who are also in a bad place so maybe more points on the horizon, but the play off talk is getting a bit optimistic!

Apart from whelk, sorry willk, I'm probably the least giddy fella on here, but as I said ''if'', not when.

When you are on a run of 6 games unbeaten all sorts of things become possible. Being the least interesting person on here, my main concern is we go 7 unbeaten. If the run continues the rest takes care of itself. For me the most interesting stat is the number of goals we are scoring and they are coming from all over the pitch. Whilst you have got goals in the team, you always have a chance, and...we have a chance.

Goals are the most important part of the game, always have been, always will be as the most difficult part of the sport is to score one. I’m pleased we’re providing better entertainment and scoring goals for fun. It’s this that will grow the club, increase attendances and get people coming back for more.

Maidstone haven't won in 6 in the league, with 2 losses and 4 draws but with lots of goals - including a 4-4. So with football being the predictable game it is I'm going for a 1-0 to us.

Bit early for talking about a game that's a week away, isn't it? 2 wins on the trot & people are getting all excited! Calm down, calm down. A lot can happen between now & then. One would hope we have a couple of signings by then, fingers crossed but not counting on it. We don't know what the injury count will be by then, McCallum, Boyce & Hollands in particular. Plus there is the issue of their pitch.

I don't think it's too early to be thinking about our next game. It's good to be excited and not dread for a change. Also there's nothing wrong with thinking about the play offs instead of relegation. I'm sure most of us are realists and believe our chances of the play offs are slim and would be happy with mid table but it's better to be positive than negative. I'm sure Hessy is instilling this attitude into the players and they are responding in their general performance.

Think we will win 3-1 saturday boys full of confidence just hope the plastic pitch does not affect the game to much and we can get the ball down and pass it about a bit.

Zavon Hines was probably their best player against us in he home leg and he's left now, apparently they've sold another striker to a league club as well so in theory they shouldn't be as strong. Just wonder whether the pitch will make a difference

That was the most nerve wracking ten minutes of football I've seen in a while. They hit the bar twice, we bundled over one of theirs and a blatant handball, we survived them all including four minutes stoppage time.
As a minus, I have no faith in Flitney whatsoever and it pleased me no end to see Childs on the pitch warming him up. Won't be long now before a decent 'keeper I'm the team.

MC has been out for nearly a year, & I feel it would be unwise to play him in a VNL game just yet. Whilst I do agree with you about Ross, unfortunately, he's all we have at the moment. Give Mark a game in the HSC game v Bournemouth, by all means, but let's not get carried away by his abilities after 2 games, 13 months ago.

Nobody's getting carried away, as I say lets hope it won't be long. On his form pre injury, he's going to gain us five points a season at least, and for me his return, on the aforementioned form can't come soon enough.
