Well done everyone concerned. I remember many years ago the youth playing Plymouth in a late round. We lost 3-1 in a virtual blizzard. Had we won we would have faced Tottenham.

The worse number nine I've seen in 53 years of watching football..
The daftest comment I've heard in 54 years of listening to people comment on football (okay an exaggeration, but not nearly as big a one as yours) - having watched Eastleigh since 1992 I can assure you we have had many worse number 9's than JC...much, much worse.

Correct Granmist. What this means is, is that those of us walking correctly ie facing the traffic, are at risk because others are walking on the opposite side of the road, thus narrowing the space for cars, who are sometimes travelling at 40-50mph. Now some of you reading this might think "what's that old prat on about?". With the crowds we are now getting, despite the sensible precautions that the club and the authorities are putting in place, there could be an accident, God forbid a fatality. So please WALK FACING THE TRAFFIC when you are going to, or leaving EFC. If you can't or won't do this, then get a bus, a lift or a taxi. Seeing your dead or injured body, would seriously spoil my day.

People don't know how to walk down the lake in the light or the dark. Just for those who don't know YOU WALK FACING ONCOMING TRAFFIC. This is really important. You are far more at risk of being hit by a car, if they are coming up behind you, especially if you are wearing dark clothes.

Sorry, but the elephant in the room is Constable.
He has hardly played in the last few games, save for a few minutes (when he scored), so how is it down to him?

An excellent draw. I'll get in first; THIS SHOULD BE ON TV.

I thought we were superb for 65 minutes and then we eased up in the last quarter. We started on the front foot, and more than matched North Leigh for effort, which enabled our class to shine through. Some superb goals, and some misses too. No exaggeration to say we could have had 12. Can't wait for the draw. I'll go for Portsmouth or Mertsham. One things for sure, if we play like we did today, we will give anyone a game.
Also great to see James Constable get on the score sheet. You can see he is a little short of confidence, hopefully this will help him find it.

Think we need to be a bit careful assuming we will just roll North Leigh over. If we don't approach this game with the right mind set, we could easily lose. Lets think about the first round if and when we get there.

Glad Wimborne weren't that bad; would love to have seen the scoreline if they had been! To be fair this league will not likely ever to have seen talent like JC.

Really really don't get this at all. Why not just watch the game, support your team, have a beer and go home? Okay I'm 61 and someone of 21 might feel different, but even at 21 I felt the same. Now I do know some opposing fan made a dreadful comment about one of our young fans, and I totally understand that causing anger, but the rest of it - can someone even attempt an explanation?

It's not that long ago that a crowd of 200 would have been regarded as very good!
