I'm predicting season low for this game around 1,350-1,450 then we sell out the away end of Pompey in the first round 😉 the magic of the fa cup

780, unless SD arranges anything. Hope it's more exciting than a 2-0. Depends what sort of team we put out.

Would like to think The Bridle Company will turn up in force for this really special game with a few coach loads, so I'm going for 1246...would be disappointing is all we could only muster is a thousand of our own. What the club should have done is announced that the ticket stub for this game would get you a ticket for the 1st Round if we get there and its a big league club we draw when everyone wants to jump in. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I don't see why season ticket holders should automatically get tickets for a big cup tie when it suits them but don't turn out when we play a club like North Leigh, who lets face it expect a big gate and a nice slice of the financial pie an attendance at the Silverlake can produce for a club lower down the pyramid. Hope its a good game and giving North Leigh fans a good welcome.

Even a share of receipts from an 800 gate would be a nice bonus for North Leigh. Hope we do get more, though, and that their fans enjoy their day.
As for the season ticket holder question.... I think we've had that discussion on the forum before.
Personally, and trying to look at it in a detached way, as opposed to a fan's way, I think that people who have a ST are 'investing' a certain amount of money in the club for a season, as opposed to the occasional spectator. Therefore I don't think it's unreasonable that they should have some sort of preference when it comes to accessing tickets for a big FA Cup tie, for example (two tickets max, maybe). Yes, I know that the ST is at a very good price, but they are still demonstrating some kind of commitment to the club. And as such they also can choose whether to shell out extra money for a cup game against teams like North Leigh or not.
I am going to this one because I haven't seen North Leigh before, there's the SD connection, and I believe the price for this product on Saturday is as good as it can be (the FA minimum for the 4th qualifying round). I confess I have not attended some of the Trophy ties because I believe that we haven't taken them very seriously. Judging by the attendances I wasn't the only person to think that. I'm aware that I could watch North Leigh for a pound or two less at Totton or Winchester this season for a league game. I'm also aware that Eastleigh, for various reasons, may not have all their 'big names' playing tomorrow. I think it would have been ideal, for example, to play Jamie Cureton. But apparently he's cup-tied.

My gate prediction is 1020 and around 100 Northleigh fans included in my prediction.

Keith - i take your point but i think the club should give preference to ST holders (and more so regular away fans) who support the team despite the cost. I for one can't make tomorrow due to a previous commitment but would have gone otherwise. See you all at Lincoln.

Does anyone know how Jamie Cureton has got himself cup-tied?

Thanks. It's a shame. It would have been good to see him have a run out, tomorrow.
