Thanks. It's a shame. It would have been good to see him have a run out, tomorrow. I hope Ronnie takes a chance on him soon in the first team but he needs more than ten minutes to make an impact. Six goals out of 11?? Has any other striker put that many away? Put him out front and see what he can do with Mandron/Wilson. Oh yes - and 1463 (Nothing like an optimistic Spitfire!!!)

Ref a potential first round tie at the Silverlake I think season tickets are a very easy group to give priority to as the club doubtless has a database of them all.
Remember the club won't have a record of everyone who goes tomorrow, some will keep ticket stubs, many won't. When tickets are being sold over the phone & online that would just make the logistics of checking ticket virtually impossible. When you have up to 4000 tickets to sell the ticketing operation needs to be as simple as possible.
I guess Pompey would be the one to really challenge the club re ticketing, I'm sure SD & the team have given it some thought in an idle moment. With any big game I think its good to try and use it to expand the fanbase. With that in mind as the club could potentially do a tie in with our next league game (Torquay), something like priority for a big home FA cup tie to all STHs as well as priority fans buying a ticket for the Torquay game. That way potentially you get a few hundred extra on the gate for the league game.
Think all this is rather unlikely TBH, 2 years ago we were at home in the first round against Lincoln and got a crowd of 873, though I don't think we really sold tickets pre matchday then. The draw is on Monday, realistically the chances are tickets would be on sale later in the week and then it would be a case of selling as many as possible as quickly as possible!
Anyway all this is ifs, buts and maybes, lets do the job tomorrow & get in the first round!

Think we need to be a bit careful assuming we will just roll North Leigh over. If we don't approach this game with the right mind set, we could easily lose. Lets think about the first round if and when we get there.

This is not going to be an easy game for us & I'll be happy with a win by one goal. We've seen plenty of times in the past, Eastleigh teams come up against lower league opposition & fail to compete, or not show the same desire to win, which has resulted in embarrassment. Lets hope this group of players don't let us down.

As said before play a strong team as possible from the start. Get a good cushion first and then make the changes. No embarrassments please. Rain Forecast, therefore gate 687.

Just popped down to the ground and asked how the ticket sales were doing, as was told not good about 300.

Let's get real here 300 ADVANCE ticket sales for a 4th qualifying. Round match where you can pay on the gate is unbelievable and unheard of!

The vast majority of the 300 will probably be season ticket holders. Nobody else needs to buy a ticket in advance!!!! Not surprised by that number, sounds OK.
