Yes energy levels were remarkable. Pity the game wasn't on a bigger channel. Even as a neutral I know which game I would rather have watched - Huddersfield v Man U or that; and it wouldn't have been boring old Man U. A fantastic advert for the 5th tier of English football.

I think Reda will be with us next year. Certainly if he is going to be able to play 30 odd games, he is going to be a huge asset. I would also bust a get to get Luke Southwood, if only on another loan deal. Its pretty clear that the players have built something special these last couple of weeks, and accepting we have a budget we need to stick to, I think most of the out of contract players will end up renewing.

I suspect that events of the last week, will persuade at least a couple who might have been thinking of moving to pastures new, to have a rethink.
One things for sure, EFC is an attractive club to play for and we will not be short of agents offering us their players.

I saw the game at the Hangar and have to say in the 27 years I have been supporting the club, given all the circumstances, this was the finest I have ever seen us play. I thought the whole team were outstanding but special praise has to go to our goalkeeper who was superb, and what a defensive performance. As ever RJ was immense, but there were so many outstanding performance I could eulogise about them all.
This season we finished 15 points behind the champions and lost 16 out of 46 regular matches. One things for sure not playing like that we didn't! I always felt we had that level of performance in us, hence my frustration at some of our shambolic defending this term.
I think we are all proud of the club after our brilliant showing in the play offs, and personally I thought we edged it and deserved to go through, not least because of the unfairness of the penalty shoot out - how can it be right for them to be taken at the home end and for them to have first kick. Wrong, wrong wrong.
The key now is how to get this group of players to perform to this level over the whole season. If we can work that one out we could be challenging for the title next season. Applause and respect for everyone who played a part in our performance. Truly we are #better together.

Yes from 2 - kick off at 3.30. Should be a fantastic atmosphere, second only to being at the game.

Probably the greatest night in the history of Eastleigh football club. Only 3 days to go and we can surpass it. Superb.

A huge gamble. If I were a Sutton fan, I would be significantly underwhelmed.

I think this is going to be a fascinating appointment, but I am not sure how well it will work. Trouble is expectations will be sky high, and if they don't go up next year, the season will probably be judged a failure. My hunch is that they will finish in the play offs and then its anybody's guess. Assuming they are in the south Division next year, I reckon Aldershot and Woking will be the ones to beat; I can also see Weymouth doing very well. For Havant maybe 4th.

Don't agree. Wrexham will have all the pressure on them. Keep them quite for 20 minutes and I reckon we will win 2-1. PM with both goals. The weekend game can take care of itself.

Pretty much the team I would have picked. Good result in the circumstances and I reckon we have every chance of getting past Wrexham.

Nice one. It makes sense to build close relations with Stoneham. The Wessex league is a decent standard of football and we could help each other in lots of different ways.

The job for EFC is to give ourselves the very best chance of winning two very difficult away games in the space of 3 or 4 days. If on Saturday at Boreham Wood that means short changing the general public then that is just tough. Besides if we do play a seriously weakened side and BH win 5-0, who exactly will be complaining?
