Great write up. But don't forget but for a World class save from Joe we could have gone in 3-1 down at the break. Maidstone are a poor side who we made look good for 20 mins. Hopefully such a thumping win will give the team - particularly the strikers - some confidence.

Guessing you weren’t at the Concorde club to see Nigel farage last night no bad? Darn had I known he was there I would have been down with rotten eggs and tomatoes. I never swear but the guy is a c^*t.

Better than last year but that is not saying much. Not sure Bradbury knows how to set us up away from home.

Leaning towards this post being correct after that performance. Boreham Wood are a big physical side so we spend the first 20 mins lumping balls forward. Our movement off the ball is poor and we can't look after the ball when we have it.

So much better tonight. More ball on the ground and Rutherford's best game by far. Good to see Bradbury doing a bit more managing from the sidelines. If Abrahams had been sharper we could have been 2 up at h-t. Been saying all season Vinny should play further up in front of Kelly. Interesting to see where Scunthorpe finish. They had some decent looking players but not that great a side. Nice to see Boycey back but no smile at the end.

Even I think Bradbury out is going too far at this stage. I also want to see how we are when 3 of our better players are back in Oyenuga, Maghoma and especially Harper. I have no expectations of us being top of the league with the squad and money we have. However, there does seem to be something in the attitude and approach which does not chime with what Bradbury promised. At least in the last couple of games I watched Abrahams bootlaces didn't seem to magically come undone. We do feel like we are in a bit of stasis at the moment with progress about as quick as the development of the Mackoy stand.

Glad I didn't go by the sounds of it (listened while watching Winchester city get stuffed 5-0). Other than Hill's shot and Abrahams back heel did not sound that we created much especially in the 2nd half. They had two loanees signed from championship on the bench one of whom scored when he came on. Are we looking at loanees? - we should. What did people think who went?

Absolutely agree it was like the Halifax game, except the changes by the manager seemed to make things worse (Rutherford aside - he was good). In particular really struggling to see what Cisse brings to the team and 3 times he gave the ball away when he came on. More importantly we have two problems. We dont seem to be able to pass and keep the ball which against 10 men is the way to dominate. Think much of that comes from our (lack of) movement off the ball. Secondly we need a striker who looks like scoring. Abrahams is a great worker for the team but does not seem to have an eye for goal.

Have to say we would go down on this form. Too slow, no guile. Possibly the wrong formation.

Don't know about tough but we have been crap. Far too easy for them.

Maybe working his socks off is why his laces keep coming undone 😉

So much better today with a 4-5-1 formation although we struggled to adjust a little when they tweaked their formation in the 2nd half. Yes we mostly played football instead of just lumping forward. Their goal was an unusual and unfortunate for us mistake by McDonnell where he tried to parry a close cross away but it went the wrong side of the post. I only saw 2nd half but gather we were on top in the first too. Ref seemed to miss quite a lot but let the game flow. Someone tell Abrahams that wasting time doing up his laces is not big and not clever. Nice to have a brief word with Vinny and Mags . Hopefully both back by the end of the month.

Better football tonight with a bit more on the ground. Some great defending too. Although another match when one of our strikers has failed in a one on one with the keeper. Was Bradbury there tonight? He didn't come over with the rest of the team and management to thank the fans. Good support tonight.
