Anyone know the score/any info on triallists in this game?

Yep forgot to mention Oscar and Charlie Carter. They were both excellent but we come to expect that.

Surprised everyone's more interested in access to a club shop when we still got NO SOUTH STAND! The concrete base has clearly gone in ready for the structure. Assume it will go up quite quickly but probably need to ensure concrete base is dried out and ready.

I thought the game was a good workout. Plus points - thought the three trialists I could remember 15, 17 and 20 looked OK. 15 in particular I thought looked better when Macca went off (a couple of times in the first half they went for the same ball). Thought Solomon Nwabuokei looked good - passed forward occasionally. Was not so impressed with Jake Taylor who just didn't seem to get into the game - but hopefully he will show his value - hard to judge on 45 mins. The other thing that was poor were free kicks and corners. In a particular Aidan Barlow in the first half. We really need to work on those to make the best of Macca. Agree Bragg had a good game but he did make a couple of errors. Both goals effectively came from team errors. Nice to see Lyle, Sonny and Tshaka get some game time too.

We were talking to some people at Winchester a few weeks ago (think you were there at that game as well unknownquantity). Apparently they have a large grant to rip up the pitch and put in 3G. It will need to be the quality to allow the rugby team to use it - at least for practice. Of course planning and building is never necessarily quick.

I couldn't care less about H&W but I wasn't happy with Bradbury earlier in the season, mainly things like running the clock down with 30 mins to go against 10 men at home. I wanted him out after Maidstone in the Trophy but I've been impressed by the recent run. I don't expect scintillating football every week but there should be some attacking intent, which there has been in some recent games. Not exactly a thriller v Oldham but considering the available squad it was a decent effort and I was buzzing post game. Agree with this but maybe he has the lucky gene. I very much feel we discovered playing 433 because of the lack of squad depth rather than it being a tactical change. What it has done is made us play further up the pitch 4141 was often becoming 640 and invited teams on. It is curious with 3 strikers how our goals per game have been less. Saturday's game felt very similar to Tuesday's game - if Oldham had scored when they had that 5 minutes of pressure in the 2nd half think we would have got a draw at best. I did like that we tried to play a little more on the ground yesterday. Lumping the ball at Lloyd's head is pointless (either needs to be beyond or at his feet). If we win all our remaining games 1-0 I'll be happy and Lee can be manager of the season!

Absolutely awful performance today. Team set up wrong. Manager says they have quick players then plays only two centrebacks who lack pace. Martin should have known better. Bradbury does not seem to have a clue sometimes.

Hungerford or Bracknell would be nice.

Dreadful game - we had six players from around the first team, plus Ross Flitney, and we were in second or even third gear most of the time. We didn't use our wide players (Harper and Rutherford) much and we persisted in passing it around the middle. Only one striker up front (Abrahams) didn't get great service. The visitors defended well, were a compact unit, and mainly stayed in their own half in the first period. The only goal was from a wicked deflection. After the break they came forward a bit more, but didn't really look like getting a goal, we pushed further forward in the last 15 and looked comfortable in the end. Smith at the back, goalscorer Singh, and Stock I thought looked quite promising. Some of the first-teamers didn't. I gather Gruzewski got injured in the warmup. A win's a win, I suppose. Absolutely agree. First half we were OK but should have created more. We seemed to get worse until final 10 minutes when they were probably tiring. Wide players underused but, even when they were, crosses could have been better. Hesketh his usual frustrating self and should have been booked for kicking the ball away. Antagana was disappointing. Tshaka did OK. Our passing is so slow!

Appears to be back at Farnborough. Given the thinness of our squad and the quality of his performances seems like madness. What is going on?

Hythe and Dibden, another Wessex Prem side, at home in the next round on Dec 13th at 1945, although several places have it as Dec 12th. First team are away to Dag and Red on the 13th so I imagine there will be a fair few Development players involved.... Surely not a good idea to play it on the same night as a first team game - unless it is to try and provide an alternative for our long suffering away fans.

Best team we've seen at Silverlake for some time. Could not fault the effort (although if Cisse spent a little more effort playing instead of pointing...) but we looked light in midfield and stood off them far too much. In particular we should have got to the keeper more. It was pretty clear by 55 mins we needed fresh legs. Changes were, as usual, too little too late.
