Outplayed by a classier team. We struggled in the centre of midfield and playing with one static striker didn’t give us an attacking threat. All in all a fair result, but we need to be more attacking minded.

Best team we've seen at Silverlake for some time. Could not fault the effort (although if Cisse spent a little more effort playing instead of pointing...) but we looked light in midfield and stood off them far too much. In particular we should have got to the keeper more. It was pretty clear by 55 mins we needed fresh legs. Changes were, as usual, too little too late.

Well, as the manager said, we set out to contain them and catch them on the break. This worked against Chesterfield, but County were a different propositon, and some of their passing moves were superb today. IMO Rodrigues was playing at a different level to everyone else at times. We battled well, didn't take the odd half-chance we had, and as soon as County scored (a disappointing header to concede at the far post) we didn't have much answer. The supersub heroes from Tuesday, Harper and Hill, were already on the pitch, and pushing Harper up didn't have much effect. Their second goal was a lovely move and finish. So the undeaten home record goes, County picking up their first goals and points at the Silverlake - absolutely deserved. Back on top of the table, too. Boreham Wood and Wrexham are the next teams to come here so it will be interesting to compare the teams at the top. Today certainly showed that we do not belong in that group.
I thught their kit was horrible, by the way, although Yeovil's was worse. Shame we didn't see the classic black and white stripes today.
As predicted, the ground looked pretty full today with just over 3000. The lack of extra capacity in the green stand was palpable. Leaving the ground was also worse than usual, with roadworks and unhelpful traffic light settings at both ends of Stoneham Lane today, and the usual lack of pedestrian/vehicle segregation causing delays and potential danger.

Does anyone know th 50/50 winning number please.
We were basically thumped 2-0. The play down both flanks was superb by County but did we ever stop them getting the cross in. Our full backs, that are normally a strength, were chasing tails all day. Thought Langston was outstanding in the centre though for us, McDonnell also did himself proud.
Midfield/wide our talanted youngsters were also taught a lesson by quality opposition.
All in all a very tough day at the office but opposition who were grudgingly a joy to watch.

Wrong tactics today! the 9-0-1 line up with the 9 playing far too deep just let them dictate the game and played into their hands. I know they are a better side than us, but the same can be said every other time they've come to the Silverstad. Until today they'd never even scored against us before.

Thanks, I heard it, muffled, from down by the 'green stand' t bar and thought it ended 37. My excitement over the weekend now, quashed as although it did end 37 my ticket was 10137. One day my dream will come true!
