As Stew5018 and unknownquantity have said AH definitely has the credentials to be given the job and to be a success, I’m prepared to give him the chance.
I’ve made my feelings on RH fairly clear but let’s move on by saying thanks for turning it around last season and wish him all the best in the new role.

As a paying customer, I have just one power given to me and that is to keep my money in my pocket and walk away. That I’m afraid is an option that is becoming more and more appealing.
You have other options. You could seek out RH and thank him for his efforts for the club. Okay it hasn't worked out but he has given 100% and should be respected for that. You can find AH shake him by the hand and give him your very best wishes. I'm sure he would really appreciate that. You can do your best to encourage others to come and see matches, and help build the support base. You could make an effort to visit the club shop and buy merchandise. You could come on this forum and encourage others to get along, make some noise and be positive. You could in fact SUPPORT EASTLEIGH FOOTBALL CLUB.
Just a thought...

RH had his hands tied behind his back when he returned...in awful circumstances he has done his best...I thank him for that, and moving upstairs is absolutely the right decision for him. Lets all see if it works, in AH we trust eh.
Just a thought....

he hasnt been promoted. It was already his role. And'promotion' as you call it often takes people away from the coal face. None of us know just what influence RH will have on the training ground or at matches. Will he be at D and R probably not-and why would he be unless in an off the field role. This isnt now about RH as Manager. Its about AH so I wish him all the best in HIS new role. For goodness sake get behind the new Manager. And yes you do have a choice-- so use it instead of threatening it.

No one is stopping you asking questions Henry ask away, not really sure what answers you are expecting though? Think the person you want to ask is approachable. Will we know you are not going to be optimistic, but others are fully entitled to do and think as they please. The football at Eastleigh is nothing like sunday league. West end, guess what as a paying customer it’s not for me to ask the questions, that’s the responsibility of the owner, the CEO, the DofF, the team Manager, the Stadium Manager, in short his senior management team. As a a paying customer, I have just one power given to me and that is to keep my money in my pocket and walk away. That I’m afraid is an option that is becoming more and more appealing. So as a paying customer Harry, what is it that you are expecting for your money? Obviously we could pay our money in April and everything could change by the time we get to August so we have no real idea what we are paying for when we cough up the readies (assuming we pay in advance to get a better rate). Personally I am paying a price that means it is worth the spend to see what happens over a season, it's an adventure that we know little or nothing about in advance with no guarantee of success or even a few victories on the way.

All this twee rubbish about hill being ‘committed’ ‘hard worker’ ‘loves the club’ blah blah So let’s find Theresa May for her committed brexit efforts, she works very hard and obviously loves her country so that’s all that matters isn’t it?

Let’s hope the new structure pays off, However some people who come to Eastleigh don’t come because they are hardened fans of EFC they just want to have a good afternoon out and watch a good game of football, it is not free to enter so they do have a right to complain as paying public, like any business if you are not happy you have a right to complain , myself I am somewhat disappointed with the season so far but for some of the people I have brought along I fully understand why they aren’t to bothered about returning , hopefully this will change but whether we agree or not people do have a right to an opinion differs to others without being shot down for it , don’t forget it’s the negatives that call for the positives, if you don’t complain it don’t improve !

Theresa May is a career politician, being PM is the highest position she can get in her field of work. When she became PM she got a huge promotion and a very big wage increase. When she leaves the post she will be offered millions just to give her views on her time at number 10. She therefore can be judged solely on what she achieved and not for her love of her country etc etc.
Richard Hill is a lifelong football man. Being Eastleigh's manager, is, not yet, the highest position in his field. When he rejoined Eastleigh he very likely took a wage cut, he moved from a very big club, to a very small one, and he did it because of a love for the club. When he leaves EFC, he will have to find another job to pay the bills, RH therefore can have taken into account his love of the club and the sacrifices he has made to do the job.
As an analogy, yours is a pretty silly one.

I am not arguing people don't have the right to complain. I'm arguing its not helpful for the club, and those of us supporting the club. Just because you have the right to do something doesn't mean you should do it; and do you really think by lots of people on here moaning the whole time, that will help anything improve? If you do then I think you are seriously misguided. All constant complaints, without any encouragement does, is lower peoples confidence and self belief. Neither will help anybody or anything.

Michael do you have no oomph about you at all? Does nothing enpassion you to leave your cosy rose tinted world at all? Complaining about rubbish service is pretty ordinary and because of I’ve had hundreds of pounds of freebies over the years from big companies who should have done better. You can keep putting up with crap and fixing your smile on, in the real world people expect a bit more in return for their time and money.

You get poor service from a company or a poor product, you don't use them again. What you don't do is keep buying from them then go down to head office moaning with every purchase.

Good point, Bomber, but the likes of willk on here don't go to the club to complain. They just moan on this forum & try to poison other contributers with their totally negative vibe. So much carp about RH, AH & the changes. Franz Ferdinand Sparks, give Hess a chance and time. Just shut up about it on here and if you don't like what the club is doing, go down to the Silverlake & speak to RH, AH, SD or anyone else about your concerns. If you care about the club, that is. But you don't so that will never happen. The negativity is pathetic. There we are, rant over.

Yeah I can't get my nut around doing up the ground when we can't even fill it to half capacity, but I don't dedicate every bleedin' post of mine about it. Honestly, the huge majority of football supporters I avoid like the plague, nothing wrong with them but their agenda just doesn't float my boat. I couldn't mix with men who genuinely want to have a fight over the managers tactics, what the next kit should look like, what type of pies they got for half time, the price of the programme etc etc. It's utter madness.

They get pies at half time, no wonder they look tired during the second half after having eaten!!!! Blimey Bomber, you've just hit the nail on the head about out 2nd half performances.......Genius!! ;-)
