The facts? Do you want me to find the stat about how many games we won under hill? Goals scored? Total points? Think it will make good reading? No Will I don't. You will look at a couple of parts to prove your point, as far as you are concerned, then call someone retarded or autistic. There is a bigger picture that you choose to ignore in favour of abuse.

Stew, how you take my posts means nothing to me. I do deal in facts, 5 wins all season after a poor finish to last season. Football style which wouldn’t be out of place in the Sunday leagues and dwindling attendances. Or have I got all that wrong?

Lets get behind the new team. I'm going for a gutsy 1-1 at D+R.

Lets get behind the new team. I'm going for a gutsy 1-1 at D+R. Please explain your « let’s get behind the new team » what NEW team? The Chairman has promoted an abject failure and promoted another failure to replace him. Sorry but this in our 5th manager in a season and a half of which 4 have failed, questions need to be asked of those who have been responsible for this debacle.

Wrong wrong wrong

No one is stopping you asking questions Henry ask away, not really sure what answers you are expecting though? Think the person you want to ask is approachable.
Will we know you are not going to be optimistic, but others are fully entitled to do and think as they please. The football at Eastleigh is nothing like sunday league.

You’re right, Sunday leagues free to watch and the players actually care about their team, not just picking up their grand a week.

Are we in a worse position than when Richard Hill came back?
We were certainly struggling massively when we came in, IIRC our league position was about the same as it is now and we had quite a disparate team.
OK our squad at the moment is not the finished article by any means but quite a few higher earners that were not performing have left us since RH came in (that's a good thing) and I think some of the additions to the squad have been good with longer term potential, the likes of Ben Williamson, Cav Miley and perhaps Boyce, McCallum and Howe as well.
I don't know (none of us do of course) but I think our financial position has improved since RH came in, I think our wage bill is more modest, so I think that is a plus as well.

I don't think it seems like a massive change - but seems like a good change.
Hessenthaler has over 500 games as a manager in his own right with well over 300 in the football league.
He's also had several months at the club learning about the club, the players and everything else.
Be a great start to the new regime if we can get a result on Saturday.

What cannot be disputed is that Andy Hessenthaler has spent the majority of his management career as a number 1. He has served in that role for over 500 games with a fairly good record.
Richard Hill has spent more time as a number 2, and at the majority of clubs he has been involved with in this country he has filled this role, including a spell at Gillingham where he was AH's assistant.
Actually I did see Richard Hill on Saturday while buying my ticket for the game as he was entering the ground. The Fact that it was AH who was quoted in the press suggests that he may have been responsible for the team on Saturday when most people I spoke to at the game thought we gave a good account of ourselves.

It is a new team. RH will step away from the management side of things and I think we will see a different EFC playing in a different style. I also think we will climb the table and I am very confident we will be in a better position than we are now come April. Sorry to sound so positive, but I actually think this could work.
I was in fact in favour of this arrangement when AH joined the club. I think RH taking a step back will do everyone good, not least himself. The guy loves the club, and I for one respect him both as a football man and a person.

michaelefc- I agree with you - RH does care a lot about this club & I too have a lot of respect for he has achieved with us, but that said, I certainly hope AH will bring a fresh approach we desperately need at the moment

West end, guess what as a paying customer it’s not for me to ask the questions, that’s the responsibility of the owner, the CEO, the DofF, the team Manager, the Stadium Manager, in short his senior management team. As a a paying customer, I have just one power given to me and that is to keep my money in my pocket and walk away. That I’m afraid is an option that is becoming more and more appealing.
