It’s hardly surprising that he’s lost the dressing room after (for one) the blatant criticism of Callum Howe but to go on local media blaming the fans who follow these lads home and away is utter nonsense and absolutely disgusting.
Alongside many others, I’ve travelled a few thousand miles paying money watching the team I’ve grown to love but when the manager is so arrogant he thinks the fans are to blame I’m afraid he has to go.
I’ve truly hoped things could be turned around with Richard but his decisions, tactics, excuses and attitude are as tired as he is.
I’m sure there’ll be room for him to join Ant and Dec in the jungle where there’ll be plenty for him to complain about or make excuses for - the weather, the ‘players’, the wildlife perhaps, and obviously the fans voting for him to endure the trials.....

Because we’re too busy making prawn sandwiches and mixing cocktails to worry about little things like the form and playing style of the team. We’ll just have to save a few quid by serving fish finger sandwiches instead 😉

I predict a "you should have been there day " Hopefully for the right reasons, knowing what playing Dover can be synonymously linked to....🙄

chester forward on the line for the equaliser was offside, surely? Yep, and Hilly gave him the sharp end of his tongue for it. We really have had some awful officials of late.

Westend -are you severely autistic? And once again Willk is making derogatory comments towards people with disabilities. You did this last season on this forum and this comment, together with your one about being ashamed if you can’t walk 10 minutes, really show you in a bad light. Have some respect for others who have a fair bit more to deal with and complain about than moaning constantly about all things Eastleigh FC.

Cricketers is 10 mins away. Anyone who can’t do that and is under 70 should be ashamed of themselves. Well I’m 38 but can barely walk any distance, let alone one which takes 10 minutes. I must be ashamed of myself from now on......

Swap Wood for Miley, otherwise worth a go, we need Matthews back. Sam Wood was limping before the match after an assumed injury in the warm up; hence why Cav Miley started with Strevs put on the bench. Hope he won’t be out for long but he had a few ice packs on his leg.

I dont go home worrying about the result. Have to disagree with this - I shall continue to support Eastleigh through the good and the bad times, home and away. However, the results are so vital for everyone involved with the club and a few more wins will hopefully give the team their confidence back. Does the result matter after a 500 mile plus round trip? Yes it does; however it won’t stop me supporting the club we all know and love.

I’m sure the highlight of your weekend will be decided soon Not the highlight of my weekend(which was a sex swop evening) but came a close second. Were you there and what did you think or did you leave early and miss our winning goal. I didn’t think you were the type Mr Ballboy lol

Is Danny Hollands injured? Doesn't seem to be. I think he's the one who gives us stability in central midfield at the moment. Must start. . Spoke to Danny last week - he’s not injured but was serving a one match ban after having five yellow cards.

Callum Howe was a brilliant find who leads the team far more than previous captains. I dread to think of what will happen if he leaves. solihul Moors is make or break in my mind As a loan signing, Callum Howe is due to go back to Lincoln in January.

This is Not rant. I feel what is happening around the club is having some effect on the team itself. There is a lot going on with the building and plans for the future. Thus not dealing with the basic's like the pitch. Then last night people assumed the game would be on show in the clubhouse when in fact it was not. There maybe a reason for this, what is it? So can it be sorted that all info that keeps people in the loop and engaged can be provided in order to end confusion in future. But who would not think their teams game would not be on at their own clubhouse. Why does the club not do a weekly update via Facebook Twitter and on this forum every Thursday with complete update on team and events and any problems within reason. This would then hopefully stop a lot of mis-information and the mistrust and frustration it create. Why do I think this causes problems for the team? Well we want to be a league team with that you need to be professional throughout and if you can't get the foundation of a club sorted the rest is gonna wobble. The club confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that they would be showing the match and it was mentioned on here. Definite issue with communication there and I expect a fair few turned up expecting to watch it at the club.
