This is Not rant. I feel what is happening around the club is having some effect on the team itself. There is a lot going on with the building and plans for the future. Thus not dealing with the basic's like the pitch. Then last night people assumed the game would be on show in the clubhouse when in fact it was not. There maybe a reason for this, what is it? So can it be sorted that all info that keeps people in the loop and engaged can be provided in order to end confusion in future. But who would not think their teams game would not be on at their own clubhouse. Why does the club not do a weekly update via Facebook Twitter and on this forum every Thursday with complete update on team and events and any problems within reason. This would then hopefully stop a lot of mis-information and the mistrust and frustration it create. Why do I think this causes problems for the team? Well we want to be a league team with that you need to be professional throughout and if you can't get the foundation of a club sorted the rest is gonna wobble.

The club confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday that they would be showing the match and it was mentioned on here. Definite issue with communication there and I expect a fair few turned up expecting to watch it at the club.

you are dead right bacon roll, unfortunately the communciation from the club has been patchy for some time. Look on the official twitter account, our next game is listed as TBC! whereas we know its the cup game sat at 3pm.
reports that our postponed game with chester has been rearrange, again nothing from the club yet. problems with the website, the list goes on. must admit not showing a TV game where we are on at Eastleigh FC is a new one!!

Surely this is part of the reason for having a supporters club? TSSC should have a direct line into the club to get answers to such basic questions that are often asked on here or other media platforms

I'm not clear about the structure at the club, so I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but:
- we need one point of contact who is responsible for all content issued by the club. Do we have one? Who is it? Is it a paid role? - if not, could there be one? There appears to be no shortage of posters on here who are willing to help!

I think it would be a good idea a list of people who work at the club and what their role is. I also think that people at the club should understand what people need to know.
I think that in the past we have good communicators who have taken it upon themselves to communicate with other people.

If you are referring to the game not being on at the club I’m sorry but the club did say that this would be shown on tv at the Silverlake. By the way are you a member Glynn of the TSSC?

Of course he has. Rendel has copied & pasted something from, probably the club's website, but in common with many other things, it is not kept utd. As I understand it, Luke Hardy was promoted to replace LP, but iI don't know who Luke's replacement is.
