Yes, it's £5 pay on the gate. They're not anticipating large numbers so plenty of tickets should be available.

What a lovely service today Richard. It painted such fond memories for you all and I'm glad we were given a glimpse of his life outside of Eastleigh FC. We had a chuckle when the Brentford game was mentioned, but not the scoreline.
Our thoughts are with you all.

So sorry to hear this Richard. Your dad was well loved by many. Thoughts are with you all at this terrible time.

Last month Eastleigh FC hosted a fans' forum for Level Playing Field, which was well attended by disabled supporters groups and disability liaison officers from Southampton, Bournemouth, Portsmouth, Brighton & Hove Albion and Havant & Waterlooville.
It was very much a learning curve for us as a club, but also very exciting knowing that we are now part of a national organisation dedicated to disabled sports fans.
In 2005 Level Playing Field established "Weeks of Action" to help highlight the positive initiatives undertaken by clubs, sporting venues and their governing bodies in partnership with disabled sports fans and disabled supporters associations (DSAs).
The campaign, now an established date on the sports calendar, is a great opportunity for clubs to organise and host matchday and non-matchday events and activities to show their commitment to access and inclusion for disabled spectators.
This week, for the #WeeksofAction campaign, I joined our adult Pan Disability team for their training session and spoke to them about my role as DLO at the club. They responded with much enthusiasm and said that they would feel more comfortable attending matches, knowing that support and provisions were available.
This morning I met up with the first team and they were clearly enthusiastic about improving provisions for their disabled supporters, alongside the aim of making football inclusive for everyone. #bettertogether #inclusivityinfootball #Spitfires

Is there any body else besides me that think that VAR is ruining football and it will only get worse. Yes from a disgruntled Sheffield United fan.

Highlight of the game for me was Danny Hollands' goal celebration. For a player who has done and seen it all at higher levels to get such a kick from scoring a goal for Eastleigh is great to behold. It almost makes up for the lack of involvement we saw from a couple of other players. Especially the so called striker who ambled onto the pitch as a sub and couldn't be bothered to run around - sorry I never ever criticise players on here but that was appalling - I could have put more effort in at 71 years old! If you are referring to Barnett suspect he is not fully fit after his hamstring injury so I don't blame him for feeling his way back. Was a threat in the air and laid the ball off well. He looked more like the player we saw preseason when he clearly wasn't fit. Suspect the reference was to the other tall blonde striker who came on!

A pretty good couple of home fixtures. I’ll certainly look to make the Oxford and Southampton games. The Saturday game is most likely to be Bournemouth, Gillingham or Sheff Utd going on past fixtures. We will see. Any league club coming to town is great for the club so I hope it’s a decent one at that...maybe it’ll be Pompey?? I can pretty much guarantee it won't be Blades this season!

Good job Boyce is available again on Monday, then, since he can double as our substitute keeper (he did that several times last season). Only officially at Halifax but he’s made some cracking goal line clearances!

Oh dear!! Plus Réda has played every game so far so is probably in need of a rest. Possible Boyce back for Monday and rested as a precaution today. Good to see Jones out there, sounded like he had a decent game. McCallum and Constable then on Monday? Likely to see a couple new players come in this week now I think! Boyce is fit but was suspended after his two yellows during the Wrexham game so hopefully just a one match ban for him. I certainly rated Joey Jones today but he has had struggles with injuries in the past. I’d certainly give Ollie Dennett some match time. He’s got a lot of pace going forward and is another useful striker. Urgently need to look at the loan market for at least a goalie. Did Stack actually sustain an injury? We were at the opposite end of the pitch and initially assumed he was killing a bit of time but Cookie came over to him and Rossco was ready to come on. Played on afterwards but he’s had issues with that shoulder before so fingers crossed it’s nothing serious. He made some great saves though and played a good 90 minutes.

A great 3 points from a ground where we rarely pick up points. Came out fighting in the first half with some of the best passing football I’ve seen from our players with notable performances from Joey Jones, Yeates, Hare and Williamson.
2nd half Dover came out full of fighting spirit and we went into panic mode somewhat. The ball was all in our end and we defended deep and gave their players too much space. The passing game ended and balls were hoofed up the pitch in the hope of reaching a striker. Beano probably had our best chance to score in the second half but the ball went just wide.
Just to mention Dover’s coach prices. Their next away game to Leyton Orient is costing £33 and £55 for Fylde. They give a heavily subsidised price for supporters club members (£18 and £30 respectively). Don’t think we can really say we’ve ‘priced ourselves out of our means’ looking at our prices.

TBF, there's only 4 or 5 of them and with the problems the club is experiencing at the moment, they may well have gone elsewhere. Never helps the situation when an equally small element of people from this neck of the woods goad and wind them up. Maybe that few don't come to our games anymore? I really hope they don’t go anymore and understand some have received bans because of their behaviour. I personally could never forgive those cruel and sick grown men for the obscenity that was shouted at Kyle. We can’t tar them all with the same brush though. Some of their true fans approached us apologising for the words that were used - they were equally as disgusted with them as we were. Unfortunately Kyle was so upset that he will never attend a match involving D&R again.

Brilliant. So we now have the option of not having to be anywhere near some of their despicable ‘fans’
