A good quality production, pity about the result but you have to give praise where it deserves. I cannot recall seeing many of our highlights for a long time?

Dan hasn't had that many bad games actually, and he defends very well. Maybe its because Greener bombs down the line a lot that we fans notice him more, and like him for it, but Dan has been solid in his duty. As you say, everyone to their own, and two who will be in the running alongside Dan, are Drury and Constable as we enter the final two months. Agree, Dan reads the game well - he does add a lot of experience to the side.

Confirmed on the transfer web, Irish central midfielder and attacker - formerly with Manchester City and then Swansea, on loan to Eastleigh 1 March 2016. Another up and coming youngster - good luck Tom.

Firstly I don't get all this business about the pitch, looked not too bad, all things considered, certainly didn't stop some decent football being played tonight. Massive credit too all those who have worked on it to make it the best it can be at the moment. Agree 100% - It's not a bowling green but it still allows for good football. Guess we have to live with it until the new stadium is agreed. Great result tonight which has put us back in the hunt for a play-off place. I'd be happy with 5th place and 2 play-off games with CTFC - I didn't think they were anything special and we've taken 4 points out of six from them. Completely agree taylov, I didn't think we played that bad at all, the defence looked a lot better, nice to see Dan back after his injury. My man of the match would have been Turley. If people looked at the table properly we are in a very good position for 5th place, games in hand - form looking a lot better. I just wish we wouldn't criticise our players like some are doing. We have had our bad spell now let's all think positive for a change. BELIEVE........

You answered your own question Rendel....."What was broken was the spirit of the game" so whether we were in the last minute on the final day you've said we mustn't break the spirit of the game. I for one would be extremely proud if we allowed a walk in goal in the last minute that robbed us of a PO spot because it would be the right thing to do. Guiseley may yet get a massive backlash if that result alters things at the seasons end. As for The FA ordering a rematch I remember Arsenal having to replay a cup tie because the referee awarded a goal that should not have counted, so these things can be done even when no rules were broken. Perhaps Braintree have mentioned this and maybe The FA have it under review. Good reaction from Danny Cowley too afterwards in the interview keeping his cool. That game was against Sheffield United and it was Arsene Wenger that asked for the game to be replayed, that's what you call sportsmanship

Some people just have a downer on everything, they don't know the facts and try and influence others the wrong way all the time.

I wondered when the first suggestions of Toddy's appointment were going to happen!! Doesn't take a lot before people start shouting obscene chants about the management and board. How is this helping the lads? Just go and watch a Premiership side instead. Nuff said. I'd question anyone's thought process questioning the board but the manager is fair game. He applied for the post, he wanted the job & the opportunity to manage these players. He enjoyed the praise in that fantastic honeymoon period which included the cup run. But he had no experience managing and hasn't yet made any difference other than that away cup win at Crewe & the Bolton home draw. Why are you getting at Toddy, don't you think overall that was a good performance yesterday, more like the team we have seen prior to Christmas - nobody was running him down then. The reason we lost yesterday was the incompetence of the referee and linesman, a definite offside and the way everyone charged in and somehow left Flitney on the floor and bundled the ball into the net for the second one - Parkin plan no doubt. The team were very unlucky not to come away with a result. You cannot blame Chris Todd for the way they played yesterday so get real, our bad run continued yesterday, it WILL change I'm sure. Believe.........

From where I was, in the seats, the FGR player was two yards offside, and the linesman was struggling to keep up with play. Should have been one all. Completely agree, we were level with Parkin, a definite off side by miles, the second one shouldn't have been allowed the way they bundled the ball in the net and laid everybody out that was in their way, shear weight, especially Parkin again!!

I thought that the results yesterday were not too bad, it could have been a lot worse and we would the have finished about 11th, so let's get stuck in, Gateshead is a long journey but I'm sure we can get back on track Tuesday night, quietly confident.

We must play better and when you look at the table Braintree are not far away from us with 1 point behind and 2 games in hand, a little concerning I would say.
