Thiis article taken from Sutton United - some of our supporters go on and on about travel prices and how they are hard done to with no benefits with TSSC, how about paying these prices guys?
The last paragraph says it all - "The more we have the cheaper the cost" and that is exactly one of the reasons that the club has taken Travel over to make travel as affordable as possible and get as many people - Supporters that is! to all away games.
"This season will bring our longest regular journeys for many years. The Supporters' Club is very keen to run coaches to matches and Dos and the players would love to see as many people as possible at away games to cheer the team on.
It can be difficut organising trips, in the near and distant future, but if possible the Supporters' Club would welcome as many people as possible to place names down for the forthcoming away matches. (excluding Forest Green Rovers)
The costs will be totally dependant upon the numbers, with a range of £25 to£95 for long distances and £15 to £70 for the shorter trips (Deposits will be required).
Lincoln City on the 13th August is 'just around the corner' time-wise and it is essential that supporters interested provide their names by the 24th July. THE MORE WE HAVE THE CHEAPER THE COST.
You can register your interest at the Club Shop on matchdays or on the fans' forum."

27 May when he signed I believe, you would have thought there would be some sort of compensation to be paid to EFC. In affect I suppose the contract has not been adhered to - interesting times?

If it is Notts County I'd take a guess that as part of releasing Richard from his contract we have a friendly next pre season at the silverlake as a gesture of thanks....only guessing mind!! Was he even under contract yet ? 2 year contract when he signed for us...

"Eastleigh FC can today announce that defender Richard Duffy has spoken with manager Chris Todd prior to the commencement of pre-season training to inform him that he has received an offer from an English Football League (EFL) team for the 2016/17 season which he has been unable to ignore.
Having discussed the whole situation thoroughly with the player Chris fully understood that, not only did Richard wish to continue to play in the EFL but the benefit to his family life, with the EFL team being close to the Duffy family home it was an offer that could not be dismissed. After the conversation it was agreed that Eastleigh FC would not stand in the players way and permission was given for Richard to sign for EFL Club.
Commenting on the development Eastleigh First Team Manager Chris Todd said “Whilst I am clearly disappointed that Richard will not be joining my squad for the 2016/17 campaign it is vital that the whole team are here in soul as well as body next season and that they are all fully focused on the job in hand”. “It is no secret that we will be going for promotion again this year, this is clear from the signings we have made so far this summer and with everything taken into consideration I felt it was best that we allowed Richard to go elsewhere if he was not 100% focused on the clubs main objective”. Todd added “we are still working exceptionally hard to strengthen the squad and I would like to take this opportunity to thank my Chairman Stewart Donald for the way he has supported me so far in the summer transfer market”. “I hope we can add one, or maybe two more names to the squad before we get going in the next week or so”.

Helpers required for this next season with the distribution of posters. Over the last couple of seasons I have compiled a list of establishments that myself and a couple of helpers have covered and obviously we would like to see these distributed in other areas. If anyone can help please PM me and let me know what areas they could cover that would be great, what we are trying to avoid is every one going into the same shops, pubs, clubs etc. "Spread the word"
I am saying whats in it for me, why would I spend £15 to get nothing back, the TSSC isn't EFC, I don't mind spending money at the club (assuming I am an Eastleigh fan/supporter/follower) but I just don't see the point of it any more. It seems that members are paying £15 for a badge & a raffle ticket
Either you don't read or you just don't get it. The TSSC acts and supports EFC - so t is not just a case of a badge and a raffle ticket. Remember TSSC is part of EFC!!!!

Seems like all the benefit of being a member has gone with the travel! I think this was discussed at the AGM and people were aware of that then. Work out over the season how many members really used the away travel bear in mind that a lot of the numbers were the same people. What would you rather have a football club that's doing and giving everything for its supporters or the occasional £5.00 off of coach travel that really must have been a headache for the club monitoring "supporters"taking alcohol on board. Think of what you pay for a season ticket compared with every other club in this league. TSSC are doing everything possible to keep members and to keep this side of the club going. Look at what is now being offered - wouldn't you like to win £500.00?

The changes so far are very helpful. It's now easy for anyone finding and reading this forum to find their way to all the info they need re match tickets, season tickets and away travel. Hopefully once a new TSSC website is able to be set up, as is mentioned as a possibility in the TSSC AGM thread, that can be fully publicised on social media. Can I just suggest that a prominent link is provided to a downloadable TSSC membership application/renewal form. Working on the membership form as we speak, committee meeting shortly - once agreed will sort out back4more

Sounds to me Stewart that the type of player you are looking for is who you already enquired about not too long ago in Akinde. I still also maintain Brett Williams can do the job you are asking, and you wont go far wrong with considering Scott Rendell on what you have described. Is he fully fit now ?, and sure you are already in his good books after your lovely touch last year with the donation after his injury. Not sure who was considered at Carlisle last year, but Jabo Ibehre is another who would meet your fit. Very aggressive, strong, determined, experienced, and could be very good in this league, even at 33. Should have had a look at Akindi when Richard Hill asked the fans who he thought we should look at. I mentioned Akindi and was told in no uncertain terms that he was no good for Eastleigh! "Have you seen him play?" Yes was my reply, I saw him when he played for Alfreton-he soon squashed that suggestion. He certainly has done well with Barnet!

Disappointed to hear this. Finding 3 Central Defenders of his quality or better will be a big task. Isn't JP on contract? If so, it will take a fee for another club to prise him away from us. Interesting that Stefan Payne has signed for Barnsley from Dover today. Quite a lot of movement in the market. It'd be good to see us make some signings soon.

A strange decision, Dan imo always played well, he did go forward despite other comments and one thing he brought to Eastleigh was his ability to read the game well. A good expeienced player going out of the door-I do not understand!!!!! This on top of Will Evans is quite bazaar.
