Away fans smashing up toilets .. Away fans smashing up pub... Um what? are you talking about Hereford fans? I was in the pub that all the Hereford fans were in and we didnt cause any trouble, everyone was just sat around having a drink and chatting, and I used the toilets after the game and they looked fine to me...

Away fans smashing up toilets .. Away fans smashing up pub... Our own fans after game walking near desborough road pouring beer over parked cars and a moving cars. One of our own fans throwing a beer can at a flat window afer being told to behave,,oh wait there, that was my DAUGHTER'S FLAT 👹 If you are going to make things up, at least make it believable! My god how would you cope if you had a "big" team at your ground? #Tinpot

FACTS......Two minibuses drove along Eastleigh High St town centre, 3 got out when they saw The Spitfire pub...thinking it was linked to EFC and fans would be in there....finding nothing of the thought both minibuses parked up and went into The Station pub. Massive fight around 12-45pm and two police vans rolled up, arrests made and damage done in the pub to property which was recently redone out. You have loads of decent fans cider but these were looking to fight not support your team.

Not wishing to disagree with the crowd figures, but my estimate was about 1600 in the ground, about half of those Hereford.

I wasn't there on Saturday, I was watching Bath rugby, what a completely different and more relaxed atmosphere, not a hint of trouble, there never is whenever I go and yet the ironic things is myself and friends visited probably more pubs than most would do at footy, grabbed a meal and had a brilliant time. We stood on terraces and many people, old, young, male, female, many of whom had a pint with them and we had a fantastic time. I am falling out of love with football, certainly at top level and now even this level is dragging itself into the gutter! Again not the majority as I said but there is always those that want truubkr, for what though??

We we're embarrassing saturday on & off the pitch. Eastleigh outplayed on the pitch & outclassed off it. Utter shame on all those who never went because it wasn't a league game & they cried off at having to pay £12. Gutless & spineless.

90 minutes of depressing crap [/p][/quote]
How do you know it was depressing crap if you weren't there, willk? Actually, it was along with a heck of other adjectives & nouns to describe EFC's performance. We thought the game v Aldershot was poor, but at least Hereford put up a good show for their fans.

You said you weren't going because it was £12 Will, make your mind up.... It was a real shame that people didn't turn up, fingers crossed we get an away draw in the Trophy so they can keep their wallets in their pockets and go shopping instead.

Funny that your 'life apart from non league football' coincided with you swerving twelve quid for the FA Cup.

I wouldn’t have paid it anyway, correct, but thankfully I was away having a good time with friends in a lovely setting rather than sitting watching that and spending the next 48 missing on a forum.

Nothing like smug away supporters who think their club going out of business owing thousands to many people is totally acceptable I suggest you read up on the facts before you post. Nothing about us is smug, try having your club run into the ground by a so called supporter with no clue on how to run a football club, then him p1ssing off on holiday for 6 months whilst the fans raised money in buckets, kids gave their pocket money, Omid Djalilli kindly did a charity stand up night all trying desperately to raise enough money to clear the tax bill! It was all in vein, Keyte sold "our" club for a quid to a bunch of cockney criminals to "get out quick". We then had all of the bull sh1t excuses of them transferring ownership and chairmen around amongst their friends as none of them passed the FA due diligence checks. They failed to pay a bond to the conference ans we dropped down a couple of divisions. the fans boycotted and we had months of agony until the club folded. A lot of local businesses lost money when the club folded so how is this smug? The ground was handed back to the council and supporters rallied around to start a new club, 5 or so supporters put tens of thousands in to start (much of this was used to pay for ground improvements), we were given permission by the council to play at Edgar st with a hitch, only 3 sides of the ground, and we are slowly making it back. since then we have had a trip to Wembley, promotions and now in the FA Cup first round. So call us what you want, but smug we are not, we are all too aware how easy it is for it all to come crashing down without a sugar daddy bank rolling us. We have never had one and never want one. United we stand! Have a read of the Evostick South facebook page - everything from Hereford on there is smug & we will be champions by Christmas & are too big for this league You earlier spoke about when you were in the National League, as far as I am aware you are in your 3rd season, 1 in the MFL & 2 in the Southern League - you are a new club because, as you said, Keyte sold "our" club for a quid to a bunch of cockney criminals and you folded the same as the club up the road sold theirs to a Moroccan for a quid then found out he didn't have a quid. You were so United you let your club fold! Maybe if both clubs tried to fit in with their leagues more people would have a bit more empathy for them

With the apathy shown by your fans just on this thread will mean bye bye Eastleigh. I can tell you now it's the worst feeling in the world when your club goes tits up. You lot really need to sort yourselves out!

Funny how in 5 years, Ade apart, only HFC "fans" thought it appropriate to come on here and slag us off. And Ade at least made us laugh.

I'm not smug he says with a smug grin on his face 😀😀 enjoy your cup run, we know how good they are from the last 2 years and enjoy another promotion or 2 but think it's going to be harder to get into the FL then all the Hereford fans seem to think, they don't let you in coz you used to be a member and you are going to need some very serious investment sometime in the near future and no guarantees there.
Time to move on to the Telford forum thanks for the memories
