Can anybody explain to me why we are being shown a building every week, which most of us won't ever go in, when we have the most shambolic team in the league? What exactly are the priorities here?

That's why I want to see the strategy for on the pitch, follow the off pitch strategy and like it. I fear we will do what Ipswich did and built up the ground and forgot the team on the pitch, don't want to go through that again. Listened to RH after yesterday and thought it was a great interview and very Honest.

To be honest, if you're aged over ten, you probably don't need to ask the question.
Why do you think we're being shown it, willk? Why do you think that we're being shown a picture of a building that will, for example, bring in sponsorship and revenue for the club? As well as being a building to keep out the fish-finger eating, terrace house dwellers?
P.S. are you anything to do with pyro parties?

P.S. are you anything to do with pyro parties? Bit harsh. Remember it's those who you have insulted that are the life blood of this club. Owners come and go supporters support for life. Not everyone who supports the spitfires are from the prawn sandwich brigade. I would have thought the state of the pitch would be a top priority.

Thanks merlin. All I was saying was that it seems odd that were so proud of this new prawn sandwich building in terms of priorities and keeping us Upto date but we don't seem to know who will be still at the club from day to day. I'm sure the hospitality and sponsorship will come rolling in for a team that can't win and heading for conf south

SD and RH know the priorities but the new build does not affect the performance of the team and if will help us to be part of the community. Hopefully in time and further builds are made SD's hindsight will make us a league club to be envied by others.

It was irony, Merlin. Willk in an earlier post described the fans who knew less than his dog about football as people who live in terrace house and eat fish fingers, in such a tone that indicated that that he looked down on such people. Oh yes, and taxi drivers and road menders, wasn't it, willk? tssc-eastleighfc.proboards.com/thread/3900/dog-knows-more-football-averageI did ask him how he got to be such a snob, but he declined to answer, in the same way that he has declined to answer every question that has been asked about what he would do to improve things at the club, rather than just stream negative comments all the time. One of the things I like about football is that people from all walks of life support it, and I have respect for all of them. One of the things I don't like, however, is when people are constantly negative about it without wanting to explain their negativity, or suggest some way to improve it. I suspect them of ****-stirring, of dividing the fans, to the detriment of the club, and of people who enjoy it. I doubt whether I will be entering this new building, either, but I understand the reasons for it and accept that it will be of benefit the club.

I wonder if Merlin has read your earlier posts.

So Willk, Millk, ir whatever your name is, you have been anseked in various posts what you would do to improve the situation, after all, you have views on everyone else's thoughts. All you have done in you posts and threads is be negative, not one good thing to say about anything or anyone. So, over to you, what would your masterplan be?

I would personally stagger on with the crap we have, get the 3 points we need to stay on the league and then get the aldershot manager to come in and do a complete appraisal of the playing squad.

However I still find it a strange concept that the average fan thinks they know how to run a football team and is in such a lofty position as to have grand opinions. Would you suggest to a teacher, doctor, heart surgeon, mechanic or architect how to do their jobs? Of course not -so why do you keep expecting ppl whose job it isn't to magically have ways to fix things which professional managers couldn't? Arrogant or just deluded?

I feel so honoured that you feel the need to stalk my posts. What a good way to spend a Sunday You're right. I won't do that again. But I did remember the bit about fish fingers and terraced houses because it seemed so petty. And I didn't want Merlin to misunderstand what I'd said. I'll let other people deal with you in future if they feel like it. By the way, it was nice to see an opinion from you at last - the Aldershot manager might be a good shout, doubt whether he'd come here though.
