'Constrictive' -I see what you did there. Just to educate you further there's no second comma needed on the list of negatives and clubhouse is a compound word so it's all one word. 😄

hantslondoner - I've just this minute got back from York and it's given me 24 hours to get over yesterday's debacle.
Here's my assessment, the defence looked like they just met and seeing we were 2 down in no time with 2 blunders it seemed rather inevitable. Parkin may be a fat boy but give him 2 gifts and he's not going to turn them down. We then got lucky with the York keeper gifting us a goal from Stearn's free kick and towards the end of the first half we looked better but had no real creativity in midfield or any goal threat.
Second half was a bit better but York were still the team who looked more likely to score despite us hitting the post from distance.
No surprises that another weak bit of defending cost us the 3rd goal and the game.
Overall we have a complete lack of creativity and control in midfield which leads to having no goal threat. Our players were second to nearly every 50/50 ball as York wanted it more.
Deserved nothing and got nothing with IMO no positives to take from the game, a real tough end to the season in prospect with points hard to come by on this showing.

Thanks blackie, not much improvement yet, then.
They'll have to start games better, the first 10 mins of the Macclesfield game recently was awful too.
RH has a whole week on the training ground now... thought his interview after the game was pretty good.

The new building is important to the future of Eastleigh FC for decades to come.
Currently our facilities are below much of the conference, it will bring them in line.
In a perfect world we would had it open 3 years ago (or even before) but such is life.
We will have good seasons & bad seasons. Having a facility like this will bring in a lot of £££ and be a big asset to the club in whichever league we are in.

Goderz, comma needed in that sentence. I'll leave you to figure out where it should go. Might take some time though...

Can anybody explain to me why we are being shown a building every week. Project Management 101. Regular updates to stakeholders. It's another good example of the club beginning to do things properly these days in terms of operations and governance. I'm sure the board would admit it's still not perfect in that respect, but let's at least give them some credit for going in the right direction?

Goderz, just basic literacy skills any adult should have. Not the case if your dyslexic Willk. There is always something that you are good at, mine is not English, the key is to find out what that is. Once you’ve found it, make it into a career. You might not be quite as rich as Richard Branson, but the goal is to aim high!

In my opinion it does not matter on a forum how good your grammar is, as long as you get your message over and understood by all then it is not a problem.it only seems a problem to the odd snob.

Allo Allo are you the French policeman in disguise granmist :-) brilliant reply....its the simple working class that made this country great, not snobs who look down on others they deem to be inferior than themselves, Prince Charles is the worse of them all...total prat, toothpaste on his toothbrush, his newspapers are freshly ironed with perfume each day by his butler and if the poor fellow forgets, Charlie throws his toys out of the pram...."Mammmmy he won't do as he's told" Even the Queen despairs of his attitude and the reason she won't step down.
