Fair comment. I don't agree with your final assessment there willk but as you say you are perfectly entitled to say it. You are definitely doing a job of annoying people but I don't think anything has been aggressive (which your example was Keith unfortunately) or even really seriously offensive. I think your insults have been defensive when someone has had a go at you as far as I can see. A bit daft really but I have seen far far worse on other forums.

So spellin and punkchustion don't mater at all then mate as long as the avrage futball fan can understand it? Wot these bleedin teechers wastin they're time on? Well Willk, you have already insulted certain fans with comments such as 'does your carer know you're on here?' Are you now suggesting that anyone with a learning disability should not be on the forum, or maybe shouldn't even be a fan, if their spelling, grammar and punctuation are not up to your personal high brow standards? I'm very interested to know your stance on this subject.

I think the difference between politics and football is that normal people can make a difference eg Brexit whereas whatever we spout about the team and manager is irreverent. No fan ever picked the new manager. Yes, of course fans have opinions, but they don't matter one bit or count towards anything at the end of the day. To an owner you're just another bank account. The highlighted word is probably appropriate, but not sure if he meant it.

Up the spitfires-of course we should all be fans regardless of creed, colour, religion, social class, wealth, gender or age. The only point I was making was that basic literacy is quite important the last time I looked ie writing application letters. Nothing to do with the football though so l wholeheartedly apologise if I have offended you in anyway. 😄

Actually Willk used "writing application letters" as an example of where literacy skills are important, so it should have been "e.g." rather than "i.e."

Durk - not to appear pedantic but it's not a hyphen, it's a dash for parenthesis (extra information) which can be shown as a dash, brackets, colon or semi colon. I also didn't need to use Mr Google to know that either.

Wow, at least the Car Parking thread was kept on topic, to try and relate this back to the topic perhaps Stewart would like to offer Willk a position in the new classrooms, that will be housed in the new building, perhaps teaching English for beginners, before serving fish fingers in the new restaurant............
