That's exactly the point of the forum, but we are all supporting the same team. The issue is that some people think we have to divide into teams hence you get comments like 'happy clappers' as if everyone who said something you don't agree with is grouped as someone who does not have a valid opinion. We don't have to agree and will all have different opinions but bottom line is we are on the same team. You'll be calling people snowflakes next.

The Happy Clappers comment is standard in the current climate, some people think the whole point of a forum or any social media is to cause division and have a row with someone.

So in summary, after the most optimistic predictions in August putting us in mid table, the manager has put together a very good squad of players with a great team spirit, which has seen us exceed all expectations and challenge for a play off spot. However, this is definitely not good enough because it has not been exciting or entertaining enough and we definitely should be playing every other team off the park (top 2 excluded) and finishing higher then the club has ever finished before. Hate to point out that this is League 5 football and we are not on the Disney Channel. Personally I've enjoyed the journey this season where ever it ends, I've definitely got my moneys worth and think the manager/team have done a great job. Keeping my fingers crossed for an exciting end to the season and consistency going forward.

Realistically I cannot see how the increase in ticket prices will push us into real promotion contenders. Financially unless we have a very rich benefactor, I suspect the increased prices will allow us to compete where we are, but we will need some very good wheeling and dealing in recruitment to have as successful a season as we are currently having. Managing the club on a day to day basis must be costing at least 20% more then it was forecast 12 months ago so there goes the majority of the increase before you factor in any future increases. Obviously if SD comes back all bets are off but there will always be clubs at this level with fanbases 3 times the size of ours and they are already paying higher prices so not sure how we compete financially with them.

Amazing work being done by a ridiculously small squad , I'd argue we take our Hants Cup squad up to Notts County on Tuesday and rest for Saturday, bigger game Can you imagine the squealing from Wales if we did that 😳 🤣

Great goal. Fantastic build up and great finish. Just shows what we are capable when the shackles are removed and we are allowed to play instead of parking the bus and tru=ing to not concede. Think we are way beyond trying to not concede. We are not conceding and because of that we are winning a lot of games and are 5th in the league. Have a look at the defence across this run we are on, it's not the same 4 every week as the squad is down to the bare bones, yet the team are working together and pulling out performances. Give a bit of credit where it is due. We are punching way above our weight because the manager is getting the best out of the squad he has even with the injuries and suspensions

And 1-0 was the final score as we protected a narrow lead against a team below us in the table, as we have many times at home this season. The second half I found pretty grim viewing, but as we've said before, the manager is paid on results. He tells us that. We're still level on points with teams in the playoffs. The winner looked like an own goal to me but it seems as if Carter was credited with it. His battle on the right with Beckwith was one of the few things worth watching today. Solid performance, Whitehall and Mitchell linked up quite well, the latter looked decent although needs to finish better. He didn't play that much at Notts Co so hopefully he'll sharpen up. There have been a number of times this season where we have played to protect a 1-0 lead but didn't think yesterday was one. Better finishing would have put us well out of reach of a team we were much better then, could not believe the Vinny miss and don't think he could either. Really good performance and 47 points at this stage of the season is a really good return

The biggest way to improve the atmosphere at the Lake. Is give us some attacking football. The only game we had a decent atmosphere (from the home fans)was Dorking. First half the place was rocking. 2nd half it slowly went flat. I wonder why? Oh was it because we played to not concede. Well that how I saw it. How about using Come On by the Hives as the teams are due to come out. Just an idea. That really is selective memory on the Dorking game. We were 4-0 up at half time so no wonder it was rocking, as for playing not to concede, surely that's what we want to do when we have 2 players go off with serious injuries in bloody horrible conditions with the points already in the bag. Why would you even think of giving Dorking any hope or risk more injuries? I think some supporters are really expecting too much.

Really enjoyed that thought we played well and were the better team against one of the big boys in the league. Abrahams worked his socks off all game deserved MOM.

Or choosing to not pay respects if they do not feel moved by recent events. We do live in a free country after all, apparently. That freedom has been taken away this weekend. Fingers crossed you'll be able to choose not to sing the national anthem or not be quiet for a minute on Tuesday night 😀

Really daft decision, what better tribute then all the fans in the respective stadiums being able to show their respects
