Yes, as long as we remember that Barnet also drew at Newport in the previous round and then got stuffed in the replay. We'll need to keep it tighter at the back than they did.

Unlikely to be on TV for replay. Already have two all premier league replays, Everton v Palace and Wolves v Brentford. On top of that Newport were shown on television in a second round replay and we were live in that round too. Only chance would be if they thought there is a possible upset on the cards, especially if the draw tomorrow night offers a big prize for the winners.

Too many oddities in this cup to make it fully enjoyable anymore. I realise the stipulation for Newport County v Eastleigh is for the officials to be officiating at the same level as Newport County, but if the FA Cup is really the premier Cup competition in the world as it so often goes on about, then we need the best 32 sets of officials for the 32 ties, If the Prem officials won't do it as this stage then they dont get a chance later on simple. Maidstone have hosted 2 league clubs on their artificial and could host a Prem club yet the artificial isn't allowed in the EFL or Prem. VAR clubs who play a completely different sport to us normal football watchers can use that to their advantage against teams who don't play VAR football, there's 2 sets of rules far too often in this competition now. Currently got Arsenal game on, can't see the names and numbers on their shirts? Every game is available from Round 1 onwards just not in the UK it seems, I watched on USA ESPN yesterday so I'm sure we must get a fee for that anyway.
But yes don't count your chickens on us being on TV again, Arsenal v Liverpool for the 7th time this calendar year is much more exciting 👌

Do BBC Wales cover a replay? Only hope for TV I would guess. Wrexham and Swansea through, Cardiff out, so if they did only 1 game to choose from.

Not sure if this is true but I heard Newport v Eastleigh was LIVE in 34 Countries around the world on Saturday except UK obviously, so there must be some extra monies coming in for that surely? Picking up on Callum's point about the Arsenal shirts yesterday, the numbers were barely visable and there were no names on them. The shirts are to be sold to raise money to help stop knife crime which is why they played in white, red being the colour of blood. He's right about Maidstone's pitch too, how odd the FA allow it in their cup but not the league, but then our FA is always odd. The blanket ban on live television football at from 3pm to 5pm Saturday was a good idea in the 1960's but it's well outdated now, yet it still carries on after 60 years. They need to open their eyes, what a life line that could be for struggling clubs in League two if a game was live every Saturday to help them, if they were all given one live home game per season at £500,000 a pop it would be fantastic, in addition to what they get from the Premier League handout.

Thr Saturday 3pm ban is huge for non league football. There is football on for hours before, after, nearly all day Sunday and during the week. We need the Saturday 3pm ban to help protect local clubs that rely on supporters to keep running financially. People have plenty of time to sit on their settees and watch big money clubs, if they are desperate to watch football on a Saturday afternoon go and watch a local non league side.

Agree - particularly galling I think also is the ability of the National League TV to show games at 3pm on a Saturday.

I noticed that with the White Arsenal shirt, the Arsenal captains armband was Red!! Surely it would have been easy for him to get another coloured armband? Also the Premier League badge on the right arm was also red. Sadly, it will not stop a single stabbing in London, so was pointless.

Regarding the all premier league FA cup games shown last weekend on terrestrial TV, the BBC & ITV are always going to go for the big premier league clubs over a non league game, because they dont get to show premier games any other time due to SKY/TNT/Prime getting all of those. So it's their chance to bring in a big number of viewers and lets face it, Arsenal V Liverpool will always attract a larger TV audience than any lower league or non league fixture would.

League Cup semis this week NO VAR, because one tie has a club that can't host VAR (Boro) the clowns continue with their rule changes, wonder if it will be scrapped for last 16 ties in FA Cup...no....

Think we have got this right, a lot of tickets to sell in a short space of time!
With Southend & Oldham thats likely to be a total attendance of over 10,000 for that week!!
