Very sad news, the story of Eastleigh would never have happened without this man......RIP Derek
I would have hoped this would have been announced on the official Eastleigh Football Club website.

I contacted the club a few weeks ago to see whether they could arrange some form of fundraising/collection at the game but have had no response. It would only be a small gesture but i think it's what makes non league different. Steve Just to let you know after a meeting with the club there will be a collection at the game on Saturday, members of the committee will be coming round with collection boxes, would you like to give a hand? It would be great if we had a large turn out. Let me know if you or anyone else would like to help. Thanks

Just a reminder, I know quite a few of you out there have a Macca in their team. Have a good look guys you could be missing out on the chance of winning up to £500.00 You have until the end of the month to “manage” your team - transfer up to 3 out and 3 in.....down to you! Well, only one home game remaining and not many have done any transferring as yet......another player gone - Bradley Hudson Odoi and a new player added in Ryan Broom. Your decision and your chance to move up the leader board. Last day of any movements is just over a week away, 31st January. Email your changes to efcspitfires@gmail.com and good luck

The players are performing a lot better now and is no coincidence that this is due to Zeb who has improved massively. Miley and Matthews are both class players and Yeates is still creating chances with his attacking play. It seems that we may be losing Callum Howe and, if so, wish him all the best for the future. What is so annoying is that if the club knew Callum is going this week why he doesn’t get a vote of thanks over the pa for what he has done in his loan spell with Eastleigh! Fantastic Callum and thanks.

Well, it looks as if Callum Howe is on his way back to Lincoln this next week. Will miss him, he has done a fantastic job whilst here at the club. Good luck Cal....

Just to confirm how the Transfer Window works.
Information on Transfers
The points are now frozen as from December 31st 2017.
January 2018 is the month you can exchange up to 3 players, or in the case of any new players joining the team these can also be included.
Let’s take 1 player as an example:
Ryan Creswell is in your team
His points up to the end of December are 5
You decide to exchange him for let’s say Mark Yeates.
Mark’s points up to the end of December are 126, these are also frozen.
Any points from January onwards for your new player (Mark Yeates) will be added up at the end of January and added to your score.
Let’s say Mark Yeates scores 25 points in the month of January.
You will therefore have 5 points for Ryan Creswell and 25 points for Mark Yeates for January.
It could be that by the end of the season Yeates score 100 points for instance so this would be 100 plus the 5 for the player who you have exchanged (this is an example only)
Don’t forget you can exchange or include up to 3 players or any new signings Eastleigh FC sign in January.
I would expect the leader board to look a little bit different to what it is now.
Make the most of it, you could be a winner.
Good luck.

Not many games left this year now.
In January you will be able to exchange 3 players or if any new players are to be added to the squad you will be able to exchange any of your team of 8 for 3 new.
Your existing score will be frozen for the 3 you are moving out and new additions to your squad will commence in January.
Your real chance to join the leader pack!
To do this send your alterations to efcspitfires@gmail.com titled Fantasy Spitfires Transfers.
Any questions feel free to ask.
