It was side, as Thursday, that play in the National League Under 19 Youth Alliance. The same squad that plays in the FA Youth Cup. The other two sides play in the Tactic League.
The team today, according to FA Full Time, had a number of players missing from yesterday. Obviously there are others in the squad that got a run out. They only appear to have one sub with them.

Great potential draws for all our local non league sides. As Well as above, if Gosport beat Bromley on Thursday they would be home to Ipswich. If Horndean, who from what I have seen this season are my dark horses, win at Woking, also on Thurs, they are away to either Oxford or Torquay. Good luck to all three teams.
Like to also wish Bailey Honeysett the very best after the trauma of Saturdays abandoned Wessex League game at AFC Portchester. Great to hear that it was not as serious as potentially could have been.

Like to also wish Bailey Honeysett the very best after the trauma of Saturdays abandoned Wessex League game at AFC Portchester. Great to hear that it was not as serious as potentially could have been. That is something we can all agree on. Glad to hear it wasn't as serious as first feared. That was one hell of a long wait for an ambulance to show up though. Credit to the physios from both teams who took care of him during the wait for the ambulance.

Agree totally Mark.
Sad to see that Cameron Munn, who was a major player in our EDS squad last season, broke his radius playing for Hamworthy tonight.
Brilliant for us and a nailed on starter at 17 and 18 in Hamworthies Wessex Cup and Wessex League winning sides in 2021 and 2022 I am sure he will be back soon setting the Southern League alight.

The EDS had 4-0 home win against Hampton and Richmond today.
Frustratingly the second years in the FA Cup got to Forest Green only to find game called off an hour before ko.
Travelling separately we got to ground soon after 5pm. Made sure we could park up later, checked the FGR twitter, as the weather was bad, and at 5.20 they tweeted a picture of the pitch in perfect condition encouraging people to attend. After spending an hour in Nailsworth we returned to the ground only to find game was called off just before we got back at 6.45.
Not surprised at all as weather was atrocious. Managed to get to a Hellenic League on 3g at Roman Glass St George v Corsham. Having been to the u19 Alliance League game Gloucester v Weston Super Mare during the afternoon, also on 3g, it was far from a wasted trip for us but still real disappointment that we all missed the real reason for the day out.

Congratulations to Horndean who won 2-1 tonight against Woking who staged the match at Knaphill. They will play the winners of the Oxford United v Torquay tie.
So Hampshire wise we still have Gosport to play their first round game, like us. Already in second round Horndean and Portsmouth, who beat Three Bridges 6-1 tonight, and of course Southampton, who do not come in until third round.

Our second year scholars u18 fell 3-2 after extra time to Forest Green Rovers in the rearranged first round proper of the FA Youth Cup tonight. Singh with both our goals which saw us 2-0 up at ht but FGR with a great fightback.
Despite going out, a great display by our lads.

WEDS 9th NOV
EDS U19s No game 2nd year scholars U18s League Div E beat Boreham Wood at Stoneham 6-2 1st year scholars U17s League Div D lost at Carshalton Athletic 1-3
Gosport also bowed out of the FA Youth Cup this week well beaten 3-0 by a very impressive Bromley Acedemy. Horndean are left as the only Hampshire non league side to make it through to the second round proper. They face a trip to Oxford United in a game that will be, disappointingly for the Dean's youngsters, played at Oxford City.
