Especially as since 9am it's been a really nice day down here. Bright sun all day long.

Especially as since 9am it's been a really nice day down here. Bright sun all day long. Yep been lovely with a good drying wind. And surely they should have had the pitch covered with the rain yesterday. I think fun and games by them as they would rather drag us down on a Tuesday night. Not impressed.

I was very tempted to pop down myself this morning!! I reckon they never had any intention of playing today.

How can you say. "they never had any intention to play it". "I think fun and games by them as they would rather drag us down on a Tuesday night. Not impressed."
Absolute b0ll0x with not one once of thought.
Here's some words from Torquay forum.
"Perfect drying weather at the moment - windy and sunny - but there has been a hell of a lot of rain overnight and this morning so not really surprising".
"With both us and Eastleigh out of the Trophy at the first hurdle and looking at a blank Saturday on January 13, that is the obvious date for a re-arranged fixture - avoiding the need for a winter dark and cold Tuesday night game."
Perhaps people should look elsewere before bleating about what other clubs are doing. As we are not squeaky clean are we

If the pitch was looked after and covered there should not have been a problem. Incompetence or a deliberate act? - you decide loudandproud.

The post below is from their forum "Quick weather update from St Marychurch.....Sunny and windy all morning. Wonder how hard TUFC lobbied to have the game kept on? Call me an old cynic but perhaps Mr Owers had a look at his potential line up and thought 'this lot couldn't win a raffle if they had every ticket in the hat"

They can play us when they like, and they might even beat us, but they are going down; and I would assume most people connected with the club realize that.
