Don't belittle and insult me by suggesting my life isn't real.
Amen to that. I am close to 63, have three children, ten grandchildren, a stupidly busy business, and I have had major health issues to boot. My football is ABSOLUTELY as real as everything else is in my life. In fact it is one of the key things which enables me to cope with what at times, can be a bloody hard life. Everybody copes with their life in their own way. Its not for others to judge how well or badly you are doing. Only you can see yourself when you look in the mirror, so I'll leave that judgement to you.

Well, credit to all you guys for the lives you lead. You’re all fine individuals and I’m certainly not belittling the crucial roles you play in other people’s lives. It started off by not feeling much sympathy for anyone who wants to go to Torquay on a £50 8 hour train journey to watch non league football.

Well that got very deep very quick!
First rule of internet...if you feel a stranger is judging you turn it off and don't give them the oxygen. Their opinion should mean nothing to you no matter how mean their opinion is.
Peace and love x

But that willk is the point. You judge others. It is my ernest wish that our experiences as to why we do what we do, why we are prepared to follow EFC, may just make you think a bit. I don't seek or want your approval.I don't want or seek your judgement as to my abilities as a carer. I don't impose my life on you so I would just ask you to respect others lives-because simply put you haven't got a clue about what motivates other people in what they do.Willk please give a bit more thought about what you say and how you say it-thats all I ask and I look forward to having sensible heated debate with you.

Yes it does. I find I can cope with this life a bit better, if now and again I can get a little "deep". I can be as frivolous as the next man, but sometimes I like, no maybe need, to show how I feel. And as far as I can see a football forum is just as valid a place to do this as anywhere else.

Totally get that. As humans we’re all in the same boat. I also don’t think there’s any issues with having opinions, sometimes sharp ones otherwise we’re all in the laissez fairs everything goes mentality of teenagers. We can all say people spend their money on what they like from prostitutes, to crack cocaine, online gambling or random long trips to watch non league footie. All valid ways of individual choice if we’re being ultra pc about it.

I love that foursome. I'll go 1) Prostitutes 2) Random long trips to watch football matches 3) Crack cocaine 4) Online gambling, and if I can have one more 5) Eating out in a nice restaurant with my girlfriend. There's my priorities sorted.

All I was trying to do is point out that both clubs did not want to play on New Year’s Day considering that the second time we ever played Torquay was after a huge storm the night before and the game was on the next day and not moaning about my train journey and that RH was telling people at the club not to go before the pitch inspection it was a done deal people

The trip I most admire about Eastleigh fans is those who got on the coach for the live TV at Barrow with a 12-15pm kick off. I was fortunate enough to go up on Friday and stay the week-end, but for me, that was outstanding dedication who went up on the coach. Not a thought by BT about the away fans travelling up, they couldn't have picked a worse one as far as live TV and travel was concerned. Bloody shame we got stuffed 4-0.
