Apology I had quoted Westend in the first part, for some reason it has not shown it....My reply is the second paragraph.

Tomorrow’s performance and attitude of the players will be something to watch, after that I might get an idea if he has lost the players, we need a win, and I don’t care how it comes about

For me tomorrows game is a must win for the manager failure to win will leave us in real trouble, a point is really not good enough. Teams below us are starting to pick up while we lumber on with the same tactics and team selection which clearly are not working. If i was in SD's position i would be looking for alternatives already in case of having to make what for him would be a difficult and potentially costly decision to part with RH. As a minimum 3 points from the next 6 has to be achieved or for me it's time up for RH.

I must, once again, ask who the bloody hell knows that he has lost the dressing room? This is just made up and keeps getting repeated when someone wants to stress how awful things are! It's a tactic the Newspapers use and someone is just copying it with no factual information, it is then repeated by others until people start believing it. He has not lost the dressing room someone has just made this up, appreciate people all have different and strong views but stick to the facts, if you don't know the facts then give your opinion freely, but don't state it as a fact. My information is that he has lost that dressing room and I would NEVER reveal the source of such information. Does not mean I am pig 🐷 though the club WILL deny this no matter what...I accept that view because they cannot confirm it...fans can though...no smoke without 🔥 comes to mind. A player refused to play....the club did not attempt to deny that story did they? Only when he goes there is a possibility losing the dressing room officially comes out....unless the terms of leaving gag the club from doing so....such a comment could damage him getting a mangers job elsewhere. It is a shame but EFC comes first not RH. Why would any club attempt to deny any story made up or not? If they did then the stories would continue to be made up until there was one they couldn't deny. If a specific player has refused to play (I assume you are talking Reda?) how does that mean the dressing room is lost? People are unhappy at work everyday doesn't mean the company is lost and the Manager is at fault! As for Reda, he wouldn't start at centre back for me anyway, the only way he would get in the team is at full back and he might be fed up with that, but it is the right decision by the Manager, so using it as a stick to beat RH is wrong.

westendspitfire, you’re right there is no evidence I’ve seen that shows RH has ‘lost the dressing room’ but it is my opinion that he and the players playing for him should come out and accept the blame for the abject performances we have endured, if they are united as a group then they should show us they want to put it right but RH came out and blamed the fans for Saturdays loss, which I think was a cheap shot to try and absolve himself of the blame and distract from yet more failure against supposedly inferior opposition.

This is now the lead story on the BBC's National League page. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/42051139Doing the rounds on Facebook as well, where the general consensus seems to be that once you start criticising the fans, you've pretty much lost the argument.

Agree, cobbler.
Wonder what he means by the fans' performances 'not being particularly good'?
Stony silence after another poor performance? Leaving early to get out of the car park? Staying in the bar for the second half? Not turning up in their droves to see entertaining free games? Not making a 600-mile round trip to Gateshead or Barrow?
And then booing - it's taken 11 home games to get there..... and I don't remember it happening before.....

We're now in a very dangerous situation here with a man so conceited, deluded, arrogant and entrenched (call it what you will) that he cannot see that he's the problem. I won't bother to debate with the Hill supporters because it's not a question of whether he will go, but when. The worry is what battered rump of a club and team he'll leave behind. I think it's really sad to see but the man needs a straight jacket at the moment.

Ok I meant ‘ dangerous’ for the clubs future. Correct though, maybe poor choice of word.

Isn't football a wonderful game, twenty four teams fighting for one automatic promotion place, and the next six teams facing play offs to determine the second team to gain promotion. The four teams relegated wanting their manager to be sacked, and the mid table sides moaning about not at least making the play offs. So all in all football is a game that is tailor made for supporters to moan. I believe we will survive the season, so get behind the club and count your blessings, that we have an investor who sticks by the club, and has not walked away when the going gets tough. But don't push it!!

I’ll reserve judgement until approx 21:30 tomorrow night. RH needs a result and quickly.

First things first. I am an Eastleigh FC supporter first second and third. I am not a Richard Hill "supporter" whatever that means; but in as far as any player/manager/staff is working for the club I support them. The comments RH made about the fans was unfortunate. However he sounded to me like a depressed man, who is just trying to keep going. At the moment it is obvious life is very difficult for the man, and we should respect that. Ironically what he said about the fans has been said on this forum previously. It is true at times, it does feel like a cemetery.
I don't know how long RH will stay in charge, I suspect no-one outside of RH and SD know that. What I do know is that booing is totally pointless and counter productive. All that does is make players feel nervous, nervous players make mistakes. I suggest for tomorrows game, we all do the best we can to put the last years horrors behind us, and lets start with a clean slate. I know there are folks on here who would like to see Eastleigh lose, I also know the vast majority just wish the club well. So I suggest tomorrow, we make the effort to turn up, we support the team, and see where it leads.
Good luck boys.

And of course Michael it doesn’t matter if it’s a turgid dull depressing 1-0 win does it? That’ll get the fans flocking back.
