Actually I would be willing to contribute towards a fund to assist away supporters because of the unique set of circumstances that happened this time.If the Club or our supporters club set up a properly managed pot I'm sure others would contribute to. A bucket collection at next home game would kick start any initiative. In a way it would show others that we as Supporters care if this was actually an initiative by our Supporters Club and not EFC.

I also think that ST holders could use 1 of the Vouchers A or B to allow a Chester Fan free entry to the rearranged game.

Have you received anything official yet, like a share certificate? Nothing, as yet, but I'm sure that the club have bigger things to worry about, at the moment. Share Certificate received today in the post.

Oh well, at least we have a restaurant which serves up a carvery for a tenner. That's the important thing.

Oh well, at least we have a restaurant which serves up a carvery for a tenner. That's the important thing. Can people stop bringing this up; a lot of money was spent on the pitch this summer, twice... The pitch would have the problems that it currently has if the new building and stand were there or not. They are not directly linked, the people who did the pitch had nothing to do with the building. No correlation at all. The fact that there is a new building and stand is a great thing for the future of this club; the pitch is an unfortunate problem which they are working on.

I know we were all disappointed to have the game called off especially as it was a lovely day, at the time the facts were unknown and to a point we still don't really know exactly what it is, it's obviously something serious and hopefully the problem will be rectified, the hierarchy will be devistated having things gone the way they have, let's just stick together as it's a long season with lots of games to go on what will be a great pitch and ground.

I may have missed it, but has the club made any comment on what is going to happen in relation to the pitch. I would imagine they would have had a full review which would include how to sort the pitch and further investment on how the club will combat the threat off frost on that problematic part of the pitch given the shade. I would hope that the club are looking at the pitch as a whole find solutions so that only the worst weather will cancel a game reducing and nagating any further problems. Thus promoting a happy carefree fan base😁 that will be the day.

Website said the Malmesbury youth game had been switched because emergency work on the pitch was starting on Monday.
That's all I've seen.
It's only 9 days to the Hereford Cup match, I'd have thought we will be getting some info about tickets soon (all I've seen so far is that Hereford have an initial allocation), maybe that will sort of confirm that they are expecting the pitch to be OK. Or, if not, maybe they'll be telling us they've switched it to Hereford.....
EDIT: in fact, they've posted ticket details for the game, at Eastleigh, on the website this morning.

It's just worth noting that the club website announcement mentions that "...car park passes are not valid for this fixture and parking will be priced at £5 per space". I only mention that for the benefit of anyone who might not read the website information through to the end and might therefore turn up expecting to get into the car park with their pass - which is the sort of thing that could easily have happened to me. I just enquired with Tom in the Eastleigh office whether car parking can be paid for in advance or whether it will be pay on the gate. I am told that decision will be made today, i.e. in time for when match tickets go on sale tomorrow morning. My guess is it will be pay on the gate so best to turn up early. Seems fair to me to charge for the parking and I am happy to pay to park at these "extra" matches but I can see a new car parking discussion coming. You can't please all of the people all of the time. www.eastleighfc.com/eastleigh-v-hereford-ticket-details/

I notice they've taken the goal down. Won't be needed anyway if we kicking that way in the first half on the 14th.

Good to see the work being done let's hope this sorts out the problem.would like to see more photos around the work being done. Good evidence for FA that we are addressing the pitch issues.

Did I miss the apology from the club to both sets of fans for the time and petrol wasted?
