Guess most of us are dreading what the result could be on Saturday, just read that we have a card happy ref coming to visit which could make it interesting. They have only won once in the last 4 (although that was against a Woking team who had beaten us the week before)
Anyone know if Reda is going to be fit? Do Tranmere have a team of 5ft 5in defenders who are going to struggle when the throw-in kid gets on?
Real shame that they are coming with us on our current form because this is a fixture that shows just how far we have come. Perhaps we will all be pleasantly surprised, thought the support from The Mackoy on Tuesday was great so hope they repeat for the Scousers

We often do well against the higher-placed teams.
With so many new players, though, it's hard to tell when they will start to gel as a unit and when the new fitness regime will show its benefits.
I think it will be a close game and we may get a draw.

it's my birthday on Saturday, have a dozen of us booked in for hospitality - so we'll have a great day regardless but a WIN would be a nice bonus !

Lucky you, have a great day whatever the result. I was a mid-summer babe so I plan to do the same at the Rose Bowl with a blow out Indian meal from the excellent curry house at the ground and a bottle of red in the sunshine.

I think looking forward to our next birthdays is much better than thinking about what will happen to us against Tranmere on Saturday.

I think right now we have a mini crisis on our hands. Quite how or why we have got where we are I have no idea; but here we are, we just have to get on with it. For me we need to ensure we get the few points needed to ensure all the grand plans for next season get a chance of coming to fruition. On the basis of our last two home games, anything from this will seem like a minor miracle. MA talks a great game, its now time for some of that to translate to the pitch.

We keep hearing we have a great team on paper, so I've got the solution to our problems! We just need to rip up the pitch and replace the grass with notepads!

I didn't like his interview today when he was asked about Reda. Is it just me or anyone else think he felt a bit like Reda should have stayed on and played through! Was almost like he turned his nose up about it? Maybe not but just how I saw it.

Im also on the hospitality with my mrs and a few mates. A win /draw would be great, Not being 4 thousand out on the 50/50 would be a bonus as well. Enjoy your birthday

Read a Tranmere fan's point of view on another thread - they're not looking forward to the game and would be glad to come away with a point. (Is it April Fools Day already???)

Much better first half from us but not sure how they haven't scored yet. Can we hold on and get one on the break late on.
