Someone has to start a thread on this game so it might as well be me. Same team as Tuesday or will Reda come back in? Tough on Connor if he does. If AD is fit, who will he replace? Where was Bird on Tues? Any other injuries?
Another very tough game, we'll need to be at our best to get all 3 pts. At least the pitch has had time to dry out a little after last weekend.
Come on, let's have some more comments.

I was suprised to learn that Chester are still a part-time club. Surely with a decent ex-league fan base they can afford to be full-time? Not sure why but I fancy this to be a comfortable home win 3v1.

Famous last words? I am never confident of us winning. Another draw for me, I'm afraid.

You're probably right to be cautious but Chester have not won a game in 6 so if we really are going to get in those play offs we need to beat this kind of mid table team comfortably. Let's hope they start the first half well for a change. So many first halves have been too lethargic at home.

Well if the last couple of league home games against lower opposition are anything to go by, Chester will sit back and defend valiantly while our forwards will try and walk it in. I'll be amazed if we score three.

Haven't won in 7 now but have drawn at Tranmere and Macclesfield recently, so certainly are no mugs.
I think they may grab another draw here but I'd settle for a narrow home win. Depends on our finishing.

I'm feeling optimistic. I'll go for 2-0.

FFS...Its only Chester, gonna be a barn storming win 4-0 providing Beano stays on the bench for most of the game if not all of it. His work rate is never an issue with me, its just that he does not score goals. All along I've called for Mandron and Wilson, they can be a pair together, and we've got some quality wide men coming from all angles. We are BIG SUPER EASTLEIGH and we're after you FRG!!!!

If you look at Chester's last 13 league games and their last 6 away games I think their recent form is not too bad, but they are below Aldershot who we beat on Tuesday.

Narrow loss for me. Unless there is a drastic improvement on recent home form.

Same old, same old so far. 20 mins in & weve battered them, they get a breakaway & we are 1-0 down!
