Have no idea why the club have listed yesterday's first round of Acedemy games in the National League Under 19 Youth Alliance as WIN or LOST. Perhaps the person updating didn't realise they were older than Under 11.
Natonal South Division EDS 4 Dorking Wanderers 2 DIvision D Andover Town 1 First Years (U17) 18 Division E Chatham 0 Sec9nd Years (U18) 5
There was also a game for the Tactic League first years who lost 9-0 at home to Havant and Waterlooville.

Are we not normally given a bit more information on who we have in the EDS squad as well by now? or have I missed it/is it a little later?

Looks like onle first years (u17) HOME tomorrow in the National League Under 19 Youth Alliance.
They are playing Corinthian Casuals in Division D. The game appears to have now been moved to Ganger Farm in Romsey with a 2pm ko according to FA Full Time.

I appreciate the updates on the Academy teams. I know it's early in the season, but any stand out players who could be the next Oscar & push on into the first team?

Of course Oscar was never really part of the Academy, released by Plymouth at end of U18 season and joined EDS. After 45 mins of the first friendly against Alresford he was used in first team friendlies and got a full contract never to be seen in the Academy side again.
Too early to say too much on individuals yet. Think EDS will be very good this year.
Under 18s have a number of players already in a second year of Wessex football: Underhill, Ryan and Colvin (yes it's Darren's son) at Fareham, Bartram at Romsey plus Pickles and Godfroy to name a few.
Not seen u17s at all yet.

Today weds 20th Sep
The EDS won 3-0 away at Maidenhead in the National South Division.
The Second Years won 4-2 at Bromley in the Division E of the Nat Lge u19 Yth Alliance
I watched the First Years beat Corinthian Casuals 8-1 in horrific conditions at Ganger Farm in Romsey (Division D).
From early viewings all 3 sides look very strong this year.
At present next Wednesday 27th - will see EDS home to Dartford as well as the Second Years home to Hertford. Confirmation, times and venues should be with us by Monday of next week hopefully.

I see todays (27th Sep) EDS fixture at Ganger Farm v Dartford is now a 1pm ko and no longer 12 noon as shown on the FA site earlier in the week. Early days but first v second in the table.

After last night's great FA Cup win by the second years it would be good to see more support with the EDS and first years today (Weds 1st Nov).
The FA Full Time site shows the EDS with an 11.30 KO at home to Aldershot in the National League U19 Youth Alliance Academy South Division. With game being played at Ganger Farm in Romsey.
The first years have a Division D game at home to Havant and Waterloovile. This is down for a 2pm KO at the Stoneham Complex.
Don't forget your brollies and to register your cars once through barriers at Stoneham Lane to avoid any chance of a HFA £100 fine that is issued if car is in car park for more than 2 hours but not registered on Ipad on main reception counter.
Update. The clubs post this morning has both the 11.30 and 2pm games at Ganger Farm.
