EDS troubles continue as they went out of the Academy Cup on penalties to Boreham Wood, who they had beaten 6-0 in the league earlier in the season. The EDS went 1 up early on and then missed countless chances before a late Wood equaliser. It just had the feeling that all those missed chances would come home to cost the side dearly and that was to be the case as Wood won the penalty shoot out 4-3.
In the League Cup 3rd Round there were wins for the first years 3-1 at home against Enfield Town, whilst the second years also moved into Round 4 with a 3-0 win at Chelmsford City.
