If we now ship out Mika, and why wouldn't someone come in for a goalscorer at this stage of the season....... Could happen. Young player with lots of potential, but still a lot of room to improve. Scored a few goals this season (albeit a few penalties). Yeah, let's do it. Then we've got rid of most of our best young first-team prospects in one transfer window

Interesting update www.eastleighfc.com/2017/01/18/luke-coulson-update/ I don't think this will change anything but can't imagine Eastleigh are happy Barnet ran with the news before it was all signed off... Seem to remember the same thing happening with Togwell.....

Must say that its a massive surprise to me that Luke has only gone one rung up the ladder and not to the top of that rung (no offence to the bee's buzzing around Eastleigh). The whole situation seems pretty unreal at the moment and although it is clear that MA is of the view that younsters won't get us out of the league hence Stack, Hoyte and Henderson in and Luke and Wilo out, I can't say I'm feeling sure that we are in a better position then we were and more worrying is I cannot name one player we have signed since Toddy left that is better then those they have replaced despite the experience of our managers since then. Add to that we are now signing the children of our coaching staff and I really start to worry. If we now ship out Mika, and why wouldn't someone come in for a goalscorer at this stage of the season, then the only player left you would buy a ticket to see is Jai. Could be a strange atomosphere Tuesday! Come on you Spitfires It will certainly be interesting to see how we play between now and the end of the season. I have a nasty feeling that we shall be watching games of "kick and rush" with the players that we have left, which will be a shame. The style of play will have a big bearing on the number of season ticket renewals. Personally, although I always want to see my team win, the way that we play is more important. If it's going to be a long ball game, I may just as well go to my local park and watch. Let's hope that Martin Allen proves me wrong. I don't think he will I'm affraid, however that style of football did get into the football league but became clearly it was never going to get us further then that. I feel the reason it worked so well for us was that we had Akinde to Target, and i can't comment your strikers. Out of interest how has the style of play been since he joined? I can only think with Muggleton joining you that his aim will be long ball. Muggleton is a long ball thrower and that is that. Interestingly as soon as Allen left the style of play from the coaches he left behind changed instantly, and attendances have increased as a result.

Really not sure we have a style of play at the current time barnetbee, unless dis-jointed is now a style. So many changes in every area over the past months it may be a while before we can claim to have a style again.

As you all know I think MA will be looking and building towards next season. writing off this season. I would imagine you will start to see what next season will be like once the windows are shut and the changes slow down. I think MA can get you into the football league but I would worry about his health it was only it was just a few weeks before he joined you he had this health scare and was considering quitting the game all together. I always wonder if he is eyeing up the media as his outlet after management as you probably have already seen he loves the attention of the media.
You'll do well next season I'm sure but it is a very tough division to get out of and with obnly only going up automatics, can he repeat what he did at Barnet? it will be a very tough ask

Out of interest how has the style of play been since he joined? I think the game v Forest Green showed a great contrast in styles. FGR passed the ball around smoothly for the most part, even on our pitch. We didn't. Not fluent at all. But we deserved the draw for our battling qualities. Wasn't an excess of long balls but not fluent at all. Our style may well suit our pitch, though, which I expect to be terrible for the rest of the season. With the comings and goings it probably be even more so. Messy, not Messi, to watch. I thought we'd worked out how to play on our pitch after the Bolton game last season, but we seemed to change our style in Feb/Mar, and that's one reason why we missed out on the play-offs.

BIG contrast in pitches for the game on Saturday. Will be a very interesting game for many reasons.

A Facebook statement says LC remains an Eastleigh player. This saga is getting to be a joke.

I think Barnet announcing it last night was a bit naughty - possibly a question of trying to "push it through".
Obviously we don't know (and we don't need to) the full circumstances behind the situation. There may be several complex variables.
As with Scott Wilson and a couple of players transferred listed a little while ago that there was various speculation on - a player leaves (or joins) Eastleigh FC when the deal is signed, sealed and 100% complete - and not before.
We await further news!

You'll forgive me if I am a little cynical about genuine this is! Maybe "MartinAllen" will register on the forum and give us another account of the situation!!
