And who pays the bills at the end of the month? Eastleigh FC do. It is a limited company in its own right with a turnover well into 7 figures.

MA was sold the dream and by his own words 'on a top salary' We have nothing to worry about, he now has the opportunity to put HIS OWN team together (not Toddy's/Ronnie) to do what he has pedigree of doing. Getting us promoted. Have some faith.

Wasn't he one of the players mentioned earlier in the season of us turning down 1 million for. I can't see barnet offering anything near!! I like to here the fee he went for and not just undisclosed or "record fee"

Still haven't seen this story confirmed by us or any other media outlet which makes me think terms may not quite have been finalised*.
*yes I realise this is probably clutching at straws!

It's hardly the headline Vardys TV show was looking for. Eastleigh to Barnet!! For his undoubted potential he's been pretty pants since the TVs cameras turned up.

Strange one.
Particularly given N'Gala and Martin Allen choose us over Barnet!

Money that's why Allen chose you guys, pure and simple. Interesting though that since Allen has left the so called tight chairman has spent a crazy amount on players...... maybe he never trusted Allen with that sort of money considering his less then satisfactory signings for Barnet in the summer.
Many bees fans were calling for his head after the heavy home defeat to Exeter and Barnet being in bottom two, slight change in fortunes did get him out of that trouble however

Must say that its a massive surprise to me that Luke has only gone one rung up the ladder and not to the top of that rung (no offence to the bee's buzzing around Eastleigh).
The whole situation seems pretty unreal at the moment and although it is clear that MA is of the view that younsters won't get us out of the league hence Stack, Hoyte and Henderson in and Luke and Wilo out, I can't say I'm feeling sure that we are in a better position then we were and more worrying is I cannot name one player we have signed since Toddy left that is better then those they have replaced despite the experience of our managers since then.
Add to that we are now signing the children of our coaching staff and I really start to worry.
If we now ship out Mika, and why wouldn't someone come in for a goalscorer at this stage of the season, then the only player left you would buy a ticket to see is Jai.
Could be a strange atomosphere Tuesday!
Come on you Spitfires

Could be a strange atomosphere Tuesday! Come on you Spitfires It will certainly be interesting to see how we play between now and the end of the season. I have a nasty feeling that we shall be watching games of "kick and rush" with the players that we have left, which will be a shame. The style of play will have a big bearing on the number of season ticket renewals. Personally, although I always want to see my team win, the way that we play is more important. If it's going to be a long ball game, I may just as well go to my local park and watch. Let's hope that Martin Allen proves me wrong.
