Even if we had a settled side and in form we would have struggled yesterday, the passing and movement of Brentford was to much for us.
It was always important to stay in the game as long as possible, unfortunately going 3-0 down after 25 minutes and 5-1 at half time the game was dead and buried.
Fair play to the players to keep fighting, could have been easy to throw in the towel and get a 8/9-1 thumping all be it Brentford taking their foot off the gas.
Little surprised at the team selection, top goal scorer on the bench? Wilson on the bench?
Still, what an incredible day for the football club. As MA stated in his post match interview, that's a little taster of what this club could achieve.

Would expect the club would honour the offer - 2 free tickets to Macclesfield at home (if redeemed before midday Sat Jan 14) to any coach travellers that didn't get a voucher for whatever reason.
For reference the full coach list is now in the archive and travel section of the forum.

Sounds like it came down to 'drivers permission' - I've got an ST too but will be using these to entice others along and grow the 'Spitfire Squadron' :-) Can't the doctor give you some cream for it? ;-)

Apologies to anyone who travelled by coach and didn't receive a voucher for the Macclesfield tickets - some of the coach drivers who weren't from our usual company weren't particularly happy about me leaving them on coaches in case they got chucked on floor/left behind etc, I did as many as I could! I will be at the Forest Green game if anyone wants to come and find me to get some! Also I'm pretty sure that fans who travelled by train/car will also be entitled to some! come find me Tuesday night - I will be wondering around the ground from about 6.45 and stood in the shed for the game! Why do we have to wander around trying to catch you (or will you be wearing a giant spitfire on your head ) when simply going to the club shop would be so much easier for everybody? Just a polite enquiry! Incidentally, I'm already chasing Arthur for my TSSC badge!!

Hi guy's, Bees fan here, glad you had a good day out (other than the result). Sorry about the cramped seating in the away end, but for what it's worth that is the best view in the ground! Good luck for the rest of the season. Enjoy MA while you have him.
