Wrong players sat on the bench today young keeper childs should of kept his spot, I thought wilson had a decent game last week and should of started today. I'm a fan of Bird but why is someone starting that is transfer listed very strange can understand why ayo is because we got no defenders available.
Was never going to be a easy game let's move on, The FA CUP now needs to be put aside for a few seasons and get this promotion to the FL.

Thought we were pretty poor all over today, both on and off the pitch. Defending was schoolboy in the first half, and the game was over after 15 minutes. We created a couple of opportunities, but failed to trouble their keeper at all, I doubt he will have many easier afternoons. Although that was the biggest Eastleigh away following I've been part of, it was probably the quietest. Whole ground felt like a library for most of the game

Whole ground felt like a library for most of the game If the away following was quiet it was because there was not much to shout about I guess. It is strange one this evening, I have mixed feelings. A few years ago it would have been absolute fantasy to be in the third round of the FA cup. It's a great achievement in the context of Eastleigh's history to even be in this round. We must not forget that. However, in the context of the season it sums everything up very well. There has been a total waste of money and poor management all round and it could have been better today. We have a wonderful chairman who has bank rolled the club to be in this position but I wonder whether he regrets some of his decisions this season.

3-0 in twenty odd minutes I made the comment "There are more holes in that defence than a fishing net" smiles all round...but it was absolutely shocking. Stack was a joke, gave away the penalty, and a number of lads suggested he could have saved the 2nd and 3rd who sat right behind the goal. I hope Childs is back in goal Tuesday, but Stack is an Allen man so I doubt it. Why ditch Mandron and Wilson, we had nothing upfront until they came on, though the game was long gone by then. JC is not the answer, how on earth is a player who rarely scores keeping the other two out of the team??? Heard the name of a striker we are trying to buy, he's good and would be popular here but he is not a big built lad (target man type).....John Akinde in the summer please!!

'Once again amazed at the generosity of the club we support, cheap travel and free tickets to the Macclesfield match, hope they feel rewarded with such a huge away following today'.
Heard a rumour that free tickets for the Macc game had been given out - there weren't any on my coach, no problem as I've got a season ticket anyway, and was very happy with the price and quality of the coach as it was. Just sounds a bit random?

I travelled yesterday in hope rather than expectation of a shock, it was always going to need Brentford to have an off day and unfortunately they were not far off their best! but let's not forget they are one league off the premiership we are one off the football league itself.
Apart from the first 45 minutes of the game yesterday I thoroughly enjoyed the whole day - a great turn out from the spitfires who easily out sang the home fans.
Finally, a thank you to the club and players for another fantastic FA cup adventure this year.

A pathetic display by a hopeless team. I left at half time , would rather watch sky sports in a Brentford pub then be bored to death by this bunch of wasters.

I don't suppose they'll miss you either.
Have you ever posted a positive post? I haven't seen one yet. Why do you bother watching them?

Apologies to anyone who travelled by coach and didn't receive a voucher for the Macclesfield tickets - some of the coach drivers who weren't from our usual company weren't particularly happy about me leaving them on coaches in case they got chucked on floor/left behind etc, I did as many as I could! I will be at the Forest Green game if anyone wants to come and find me to get some! Also I'm pretty sure that fans who travelled by train/car will also be entitled to some! come find me Tuesday night - I will be wondering around the ground from about 6.45 and stood in the shed for the game!

First time I have to disagree with Tony, but it was probably a tongue in cheek remark!! I always travel by train due to my knees, but that is my choice. I did return home by coach from Bromley in August which was fine, and was due to go to Harlow both ways until a family issue arose. The point I'm making it is a gesture to supporters who used the coaches as a thank you and is a nice touch. Those of us who choose to go by train have no right to a free ticket because, lets be frank here, anyone could claim they went by train when they did not, so the club has got this right. I'm a season ticket holder so to be honest I would have refused the free ticket simply because I know people who have taken advantage of this gesture and not followed it up. I believe SD has done enough in this area of free games because of that, its been brilliant and appreciated but now its time for the true genuine locals to say, hey I liked going down there last week, I am going again...after all isn't that the whole point of it instead of waiting for another free game?

There were no tickets or vouchers on coach 8, unless I nodded off when they were distributed.

Sounds like it came down to 'drivers permission' - I've got an ST too but will be using these to entice others along and grow the 'Spitfire Squadron' :-)
