In only a few ground, most of them would easily hold a lot more, but a few... Taking 300 would definitely push them. We'll probably get a fair bit more than Winchester, home and away, with the little amount of travelling. And the first part of that line was part of another sentence, there is a comma there, we will have a very fit squad- I can tell you that after watching the training session. And the part about getting money from this club, I should have added a bit more to that, he has himself said he isn't in this to gain money, and he will not be paid, or receive any money from the club, as he has said this himself. He doesn't exactly need to, he must be doing well after appearing on the football league show more than half the time. All of the board have said that they aren't in this for money.

Liam with respect Salisbury turning up at a wessex league premier or league 1 ground isn't exactly going to cause a sell out. Touch of BBB perhaps?
I'd be suprised if you took 300 but even if you did most wessex league grounds can hold 2,000 (think their safety cert has to be at least that) so a crowd of 500 or so is not going to be an issue.
As money etc, well we shall see about that in due course. You need to enter a league first.
You will forgive a bit of cynicism about the new club being "well run" given you haven't played any games yet and have been going 5 minutes. The old club didn't exactly do too well going bust twice in 5 years. I appreciate the new club is a different legal entity but given you are playing at the same ground, representing the same City, have the same fan base and a lot of the same people will be involved in the running of the club then I am suspicious.

Like I said a few grounds, I didn't say all of them, I am fully aware that most can easily hold 2-3000. Just a few. And a lot of the same people won't be running the new club, the board is made up entirely of new faces, new faces who actually value the supporters, and the supporters club as well, in keeping the club running. Going back to the first of the two administrations, a board made up of Salisbury based business people who supported the club, but also had eyes for the league, and making the club big and successful, and spent money they didn't have to get us there, then realised what a mess it had caused, then we had the demotion. Then we had a chairman who didn't seem to care about the supporters that much, or value them, and didn't really seem to care about the supporters club either, and value what they could do to help, but instead just used it as a way to get a couple extra things for the club here and there, never truly respecting it. He was too full of himself to admit that the club was in trouble, and lied to the supporters about the finances, getting in over his head, again, eyes on the big time, thinking only of making the club a bigger name. If he had admitted the state of the finances 6-7 months before, maybe we could have got some extra backing, helped push us in the right direction again, admit that we can't afford to push for the top of the table, maybe even just say that the only way we could continue would be to reduce the squad, or reduce wages, I know half the team would have taken a pay cut, because they were still sticking around in pre season last year hoping the team would get going, turning down bigger clubs, even a couple in the league, because they loved playing fo Salisbury, so I reckon we would have been okay... But no, William was too far up his own backside to admit that. We were under 24 hours from being wound up when the whole big thing when the con man entered, I think it was actually about an hour when the club was signed over, and we all know about that by now... It was bad, and a lot of people were very embarrassed by our situation at this point, but we all blame that former chairman for his lies and "keeping his pride". This new club is being run by completely different people... They haven't said "We are gonna get the club going then head straight back for the conference, and then in X number of years go for the league" they haven't said anything like that, they aren't saying we are gonna be able to do this, that and the other, because they genuinely just want the club to be playing football, build sustainably, and be, for the size of club we truly are, somewhat successful, and that doesn't mean we have to be going for the league, or even the top of the non-league. Salisbury are naturally a Conference south/SLP team, and if we become a team that finds ourselves there, not really worrying the Conference South play-offs, so be it, I just want to be playing football again.

Obviously season tickets won't be priced or announced officially until allocation of a league.

They played (drew 2-2) with Division One South & West AFC Totton. Not sure if that is an indicator of the level they think they will be returning at?

It really depends on the AGM cups as to where they've/ Hereford end up. Lots of clubs are takin voluntary relegation and some don't want to go up in certain regions, I have a feeling they'll get lucky and sneak into Southern League South & West.
Personally didn't recognise any of the names Satts , can't find any team line ups online either , they have to be careful at the moment and most 'good' players are still under contract but all Salisbury would need to do is ask I suppose. They looked good for a team of trialists though.

So will they be spurting a load of money in the next few years they can't afford and don't remotely have the financial infa structure for again and go bust shortly after that?

Duncan Culley (scorer of the first goal) played in Salisbury City's last ever game against Shrewton and scored 4 goals there. Sam Roberts who made a substitute appearance for Salisbury City in the conference played the match, he had featured on the bench many times in that season and the season before, a youngster who came through the academy at Sparsholt college. He had been at Gosport for this season. Other than that, many names I didn't recognise.

Very lucky. There are a whole bunch of teams in Wessex 1 who are far more deserving of a place in the prem than Salisbury.
If I was a football dictator I would ban them from the Con South for 10 years and not allow them to give out any player contracts for 3 years.
