I think that with regard to the timings of games I would think BT would not want to schedule games when a lot of their potential customers are other games. TV money is presumably a good source of income for clubs, but not sure whether BT's viewing figures affect the amounts paid. It’s about £10,000 per time. I think when a Stew was here he wasn’t interested in it but I think these days £10k goes a long way to balancing the books a bit

It’s a shame there were no FREE games last season. I totally get the cost to the club for putting them on, but I’ll never forget the Maidstone game which was free entry. The atmosphere was absolutely amazing. I think we went 4th after a 3-1 win. I bet the atmosphere and the football on display that night got a few new season tickets signed up that season! Maybe we’ll see 1 put on this year, a Tuesday night game during a half term?

Last seasons performance and the signings of Partington & Stryjek have definitely helped push this number up. Anyone for a well known striker to come in and push the tickets up above 1,000!!?

Make that Ben Williamson. Looks like we could do with another one or two up front. Looking a little light in that department. Well spotted! Not sure where Sam came from!! Yes indeed, definitely need another striker or two. Wouldn’t mind seeing us get another keeper, maybe a young up and coming. Although we are probably saving wages having Flitney as stand in keep and keep coach!

I think the whole team are on 1 year deals now and the club has the option for a second year. Very cleaver bit of business I think. We have the right to extend the contracts then next summer, or release them if they are no good. However, some targets might find it difficult to commit to our contract because of it

I’ve updated the first post with first team players for next season, to keep a running list of players we have for next year. Let me know if I’ve missed anyone!

Fantastic signing. Well done to Kenny, Tom etc and Strevs for getting this one done. Brilliant piece of business. Potentially will be the best keeper in the league.

Jack Payne has today signed front ebbsfleet. Not a bad signing at all. Was a decent player for us when on loan this season. Hopefully he can find that form again for us. Ian Wilding on Twitter has called him “one of the best midfielders in the league”!! We will see.
Very positive message from Strevs on Twitter this evening too. Roll on a week or two of good news!

Oscar Gobern has joined Dover Athletic on a two year deal.
Good luck to them. Never really rated him much. Great technique but afraid to really get stuck in. Could be a great player. Rather have Miley personally

Scott Rendall has signed on for next season. Decent in the box. Let’s hope Yeates stays and he can assist Rendall all season

Which is interesting considering SD said the club would bring in over £2.5M a year. I was very surprised it was that much and I did think that was very far wide of the mark when he said it.
Will be an interesting summer. What’s more interesting is players like Greener and Hare, who are likely on considerably less wages than Johnson, McCallum, Yeates et al were actually our better players last year. So would be interesting to see players like them coming in and proving themselves at our level. Over to you recruitment team...

It seems there is a major funding issue at the club at present. What, on the basis of PM looking to sign for someone else? Just got through his twitter feed. He mentioned something about being offered way less than he wanted and then announced the next day that he was leaving us! Just put 2 and 2 together!
