With Reda out, who would MA's choice for Captain be? Personally, I'd like to see Duggy take the helm, Wembley Winner, league experience, very level headed and can handle big games It'll be Ben Togwell if I'm correct in thinking he's not cuptied? He's been labelled as captain in a YouTube video. If he is cuptied then I've no bloody idea!! Think Duggy would be a good shout to be honest, if not Constable? Been at the club a few years now and always passionate, but maybe a little too passionate sometimes!! in MA we trust!!

Came with such promise and expectation, but was very clumsy. Can't imagine he'll ever make it at Arsenal. The game against Dover at home was impressive for all the wrong reasons! I think that really knocked his confidence, and the confidence in him from the club. Hope he goes on to make a name for himself somewhere else and gets a good run of games. To be fair he did do well at games like Gateshead away but was too inconsistent for my liking.
All the best for the future Ryan

Who's excited about tomorrow then?
Absolutely nothing to lose, hopefully the players can put in a good performance.
No flares, no trouble, 1,400 enjoying the day!
team?, assuming they are available my XI would be...
STACK
HOYTE ESSAM DUGDALE GREEN CONSTABLE REASON TOGWELL COULSON
MANDRON
WILSON Agree with the above, whilst Childs is in form, an experienced keeper is a must in this game. No flares, no trouble.......just over 100 inflatable spitfires, some balloons and a party atmosphere!!!! oh, and an upset too ;-) Agreed, I think childs should be rewarded with his good form with another couple of league appearances. This game need experience, especially with our second choice centre half partnership and no Drury or Taylor offering experience in the middle. If we have a chance at winning this game we won't win it with nervous heads. Needs to be players who have played football league and know about the pressures

I expect we'll see Huddart officially head back to Arsenal now as Stack won't be cup-tied due to playing the past season in India!
Also explains why our goalkeeping coach chopper left when Martin Allen came in.
Personally don't see him as our number 1 though, but we'll see.

Can we do it.....YES we can. I truly believe we might get close to 1200, we've got the fan base, its only up to West London and when we consider almost 700 travelled to Bolton on a Tuesday night, this is doable, Saturday afternoon 3pm KO according to the Brentford website. However if you go to The FA website and see the 3rd round fixtures you will find Brentford v Eastleigh is one of the 8 missing matches not scheduled that weekend, which would suggest to me The BBC has selected the game for their Sunday afternoon FA Cup programme, which means Sunday 2pm kick-off. We've now officially got over 1,000 fans heading to Brentford!! Biggest ever away attendance. Amazing spitfires! It's gonna be a great day 🔵⚪🔵⚪🔵⚪

That's the second person this week to leave due to wanting to "be closer to their families". Is this the real reason or is there something deeper going on?

Just had a friendly Barnet fan on the phone abusing me for this, I asked if we could have Akinde as part of the deal and he hung up! Whatever happens next I'm loving the ride #spitfires ON of my good mates is a Barnet fan and he's not happy either! Said he has been their best manager for a long time. I also asked about Akinde but have a comment which someone above wouldn't like so I won't post it!! Haha
