4-0 half time. We look very good and Oxford are very poor. Bit of both, probably. Need to score a couple more second half to improve our GD and keep a clean sheet.

Won 5-2 and conceded a penalty which was saved.
Really good win, but also a reminder that there is work to be done.
Crazy league table, we are 11th but only 4 points clear of 21st place Dorking (and they have a game in hand).
Bromley threw away a 2 goal lead at home to Dag & Red which will hopefully give us some encouragement for Saturday.

The players looked like they were enjoying themselves which I've not seen under Hill, It was good to see the gaffer actually interact with the players at the end and give them hugs, handshakes etc. I always felt Hill was abit distant with his players.
Delighted for Oscar getting 2 assists, hopefully it is now the start of his career at last.
Bromley is a whole different game and well aware our new manager will only likely have 2 training sessions with them before then so not expecting miracles but aslong as we play with a similar intensity as we did last night then we can at least give them a tough game.

Good result but are not getting carried away whatsoever as Oxford City were bloody awful..I'll wait till Saturday before I give judgment. Still it was good to see the team playing with wingers.

What was the formation? Still five at the back with wing-backs? From the names, looked like a back four with three defensive midfielders (who can get forward). Rutherford straight in, I see :-)
I see Maguire was on the subs bench, a chance to see what Reeves can do in the creative role?
With three home games in a week coming up, more of us will have a chance to see the new look Spitfires soon.
As bomber says, good result, but against opposition we should have been beating anyway. I see we eased off from 5-0 up and let in two and conceded a penalty. Sounds like the Aldershot game.
Some consistency should be the thing we look for!
