Good start, but some poor defending for the goals conceded to be worked on. Att of 511, how many did we take? Must be one of the lowest attendances in the league this season? Lets see how we do against Bromley.

Formation was more or less a 4-4-2 last night and we managed to get forward a lot more quickly than we have been doing. Rutherford and Reeves managed to get into wide positions and actually deliver the ball into area where chances got created. Definitely a positive start under KD but let's make no mistake Oxford City were poor and we did ease off far too much after 70 mins, this led to two sloppy goals conceded the last of which possibly shouldn't have stood due to a handball in the immediate build up. I reckon we had about 100-150 around the ground.

I was at the game and felt like there was at least as many Eastleigh fans as Oxford. But it was non segregation so difficult to say exactly. I imagine it was affected by Oxford Utd also playing at home.
It was very much shades of the Aldershot away game. Should be going away elated with a 3 goal win but can’t help but feel those last two goals tarnished it a little! Kelvin and Danny were very vocal on the sidelines, I didn’t get that impression with Hilly, so that was good to see.

Sport has to be the only employment where 'athletes' are allowed to down tools to get someone the sack. Absolute frauds the lot of this mob. A strong owner would get rid of them all today. 2 good blokes seen off this season, A real fanbase wouldn't support them, most dislikeable bunch since the Martin Allen era. A proper winning mentality team would have done these 8 or 9 last night not lose the second half 2-1 with a 3rd smashed over the bar and fans claiming it was a breath of fresh air 🤣. Absolute dross the lot of them. Conference South club with Conference South support nothings grown in our Conference Prem tenure. I'm sure they'll turn up the rest or the season with contracts up for renewal, we have to be stronger as a fanbase, it's not good enough throughout.

You had an issue with a player just because he wanted to move on to earn a living wage.

You had an issue with a player just because he wanted to move on to earn a living wage. Remember when Hill did well 10 years ago on a big budget he did a great job, but life moves on players have the power. As a club we have to move on, not sure what will happen at the end of the season but we need a long term plan and stick to it, give the manager the backing without interference and let the manager get on with the job.

Having previously drawn with them in the league once and lost to them three times at home in F A competitions I think this may be our first ever win against them.
I thought amongst the best features of our team last season was the form of Vinny Harper on the left hand side and the way Oscar Rutherford and Charlie Carter combined on the right hand side. However Harper left the club in the summer, while this season Carter was sometimes played on the left hand side and has now left the club, while Rutherford when he played at all was often also played on the left hand side. However this time it seems Rutherford was selected to play on the right hand side and he created two goals.

You had an issue with a player just because he wanted to move on to earn a living wage. Totally incorrect. Couple of lads I know up here playing every game in league 2 are on minimum wage for doing so, less than that if you add in travel time overnight stays etc, earning more coaching of an evening. Best of luck to the lad if he can get better money elsewhere, I also don't have to show loyalty to him if he doesn't want to play for the club I support. Im also one of the few on here happy to put my name to opinions unlike the majority on here.
