10 home games in now, so perhaps worth a look:
Solihull Moors 1,354 Bromley 1,478 Wrexham 1,717 Ebbsfleet United 1,663 AFC Fylde 1,750 Dagenham & Redbridge 1,538 Boreham Wood 1,306 Aldershot Town 2,349 Leyton Orient 1,938 Salford City 2,253
average = 1,735 which is 9th in the crowd league
Last season average was 1,960 so down around 12% on that at the moment.

With Dover, Chesterfield and then a big one Vs Havant coming up that average attendance could shoot up big time. I imagine the Havant game could get over 2,500? A real shame Pompey are home the same day, but hopefully the game will attract a lot of saints fans to come down too. Should the club do a New Years special offer on tickets and try to get a real big crowd?
Maybe £30 for 2 adults & 2 kids for tickets in the Mackoy stand? Or FREE entry for children with a paying adult, etc etc? Got to be worth looking at??

Bearing in mind our poor home record, these figures are pretty impressive - just imagine what they would be like if we were winning regularly and in the top 2 or 3.

Yes I think the figures are quite reasonable. We've struggled a bit at home this season with 12 points from 10 games which obviously doesn't help numbers.
Its also possible/probably that we are stricter this season with calculating the actual numbers in the ground. Don't know for sure, but have seen it said that non attending STHs used to count in the crowd figures. Whereas now with the new QR system presumably it might just be a question of number of codes scanned through = the crowd

I think your spot on there about the numbers this year. I believe the season tickets counted last year regardless of if people went or not. Therefore this year the figures are actually very promising I think. A good second half of the season could see us rolling towards the 2,500 mark for a couple of games hopefully.
Would also like to see more of an atmosphere down at the ground. Invite the nippers back who used to stand at the back of the mackoy, just make sure they don’t bring the pyro’s!!

I think most ST holders tend to go anyway, the blue stand always seems pretty full nowadays, but I agree that the figures tally much more with what I think they are this season. Although I thought the Salford game was an exception....didn't seem much more than for the Orient game.
However, how many ST holders are there? about 1000? For the Orient game, for example, a 1932 crowd, 461 away fans leaves 1471, take away 1000, doesn't leave many others for a big game. And we know that ST holders are such a large figure because of the prices. If the prices went up too much (whatever that means)......?

Probably about 1000, maybe a touch less. I think the club said it was something like 800 at the fans forum in July. I think the % of STHs attending this year is probably higher than it has been in the last couple of seasons.
If/when season ticket prices go up then it would presumably mean less STHs and more fans buying individual match tickets. Would hazard a guess that overall the ticket income might fall a little. Obviously its very early to say, but if we are in this division next year IMO an increase of the early bird price from 120 to 140-150 would be about right and serve the business interests of the club best.

Nah, those who do take up the offers hardly ever return, in turn you're tucking up the regulars by letting these freebie merchants in on the cheap. Give us discounts in the bar instead. A free pint for every s.t holder.

Despite Eastleighs position in the league..New housing nearby being moved into, we still haven't increased the crowds. I truly believe that unless we get to league one in 50 years time the attendances have peaked. Nobody is bothering anymore.

Poor attendance today. I don't know what to do to get more numbers in...

Good job you're not running the club then😁😁
But.... Saints were at home, weather not the best, lost 3 previous games, opposition not the most attractive, Easter holidays people away etc. Yes, attendance was still disappointing.

Attendances aren't fantastic, but they are pretty good. Lots of clubs in our league would love to have the average we do. Our home form has been pretty lousy for quite a while now, and that hasn't helped. I imagine that come the end of the season we will be in the top half for attendances and when you look at the size and history of clubs we are competing against, that isn't bad.

I see loads of blokes walking about on the way back from the game every home game. Guarantee that most will be at work on Monday talking about football. How can we crowbar their hen pecked lazy arses out the front door and down the road to watch their local side?

8th best in the league (according to footballwebpages.co.uk this evening) and 5 out of the 7 above us are ex-Football League clubs. Only Sutton and Salford have bigger gates (just) of the clubs that have never been in the promised land.
Only 3 gates higher than ours in the NL today.
Seems pretty good to me.

Torquay had over 4500 in the NLS today, to see them win the title. Not bad.
