Having said that the new board need to understand that we the supporters are the life blood of the Spitfires and we are far more important than they seem to comprehend. Lets hope our new Chairman, CEO or anyone who is running the club have the decency to tell us what the f*** is going on? Sooner rather than later. I see that the new owner of Sunderland has made the CEO role redundant.

Pretty sure our new owners have not been ratified by the National League as yet and they cannot really say anything until they have, as they are not officially our owners until that has been done. Appreciate it is 2018 and everybody wants to know everything now but sometimes we have to wait. Making judgments on the new owners now is a bit unfair, give them a chance to have their say and judge later if you must. One thing is for sure, they are not likely to have the same personality as SD so it is going to feel a bit different (maybe even a bit normal)

i expect the new owners are waiting for all the legal people to do everything very slowly as to justify their huge costs , I bet it’s no different to buying a house , it could all be sorted quickly apart from the fact the people you have to rely on do nothing fast, I would have thought they are told to give no statements until the green light , so best just to wait , unless of course you have a big financial commitment to the club for example you are purchasing it.

SD cannot own two clubs simultaneously, that is specifically against EFL rules. I don't know for sure, but my hunch right now is that technically at least, he still owns Eastleigh and not Sunderland. Again as far as I know the National league have not ratified the sale of EFC to the new owners, and until that is done, SD still owns EFC and therefore can't own Sunderland. I am aware that statements have been issued to the contrary, but I think this is the situation. I am happy for someone who knows better to correct me.

Whilst I sympathise with your sentiments, it may be that what you want is too much to ask. If the new owners have not been ratified by the National league, they don't own the club, so they can't issue any relevant statements. It may even be the case that the National league have advised against them making any such statements until the matter is fully resolved. I know SD has been talking 16 to the dozen since his name was first associated with Sunderland, but that's him. It doesn't make it right and it certainly doesn't make it wise. It's a little bit like a football transfer, we have had it before where a deal has been announced as done, when it wasn't and we look a right bunch of Charlies. I think, difficult though it is, you need to put a little bit of trust in the new owners.
All that said I do think some sort of statement is necessary before the end of next week. The trouble is no statement, will involve a load of people just making stuff up, and that will help no-one. But right now, just stay calm.

The last week our twitter page has been a real tool for information? NOT! has the media team gone on holiday or the media team know as much as us fans?

I think improving our social media presence is vital, and I hope the new owners make this a much higher priority than SD did.

Well Donald is doing a lot more communication for a club he “technically” does not own. In fact I would go are far to say that he now has his new toy and the old one is left in the toy box waiting for his much younger brother to take an interest in playing with it. its not good enough from a spitfires point of view.

No other member of the Donald family can take over EFC because SD has control of Sunderland, its not allowed.
