Just think it's worth pointing out that tomorrows game is at the rather unusual time of 7pm.

Well, here in Lisbon, the local derby of Belenenses v Benfica kicked off at 9.00pm. Same time zone as at home. No, I'm not at the game. It's a bit late for me!!

Not fussed about the outcome tonight (although if we win i'll be happy), but delighted to see Mark Childs back in action.

Judging by the lineup, the competition clearly doesn't appeal to AH which is a shame really.

Biggest crowd for a Hants Senior Cup game at the 'lake that I can remember seeing, the extended Blue Stand was popular given the foul weather.
Official attendance - 264
I remember a time when we would have thought that was good for a Saturday league game.

Yes - good decision. I didn't enjoy that very much.
Not much to take away from tonight - AFCB passed the ball round nicely, as an U21 side does, and we basically let them. The first goal was when the attacker found a gap at Childs' near post, and wasn't properly closed down, the second stemmed from an error in our midfield.
I noticed that three of the AFCB U21 players that I'd heard of were out out on loan this month (two to Boreham Wood) so I suspect this wasn't even their strongest side. EDIT: On the other hand, Brad Smith, their left-back, is an Australian international. who cost a few million from Liverpool.
Childs and Cresswell had a good runout, one or two of the youngsters had their moments (great tackle by Lewis Harvey near the end), and that's about it.
I thought attendance was about 500. Pretty good for the HSC. Not sure I'll be watching another one, though.

Best I can describe that was went out with a whimper. Didn't ever really look like scoring, and even less so when cressy went up front. Slightly disappointing as was enjoying that cup run would've liked to see it continue but guess they decided not to risk anything with fylde coming up.

I thought the AFCB right back, number 2, looked very good - always looked a threat going forward, good pace, neat footwork ..... any chance we could sign him on loan before close of play today .....!! ;-) - I thought we looked OK for the first half hour, their keeper pulled off 2 or 3 good saves but all credit to Bournemouth, they were the better team & played some good footy in pretty poor conditions
