Right back looked good but we desperately need a left back so Brad Smith would be a better signing(tongue firmly in cheek !!!)

AFCB were very good to watch, technically a lot better. Our lads gave a good account of themselves but never really threatened and once AFCB got the second the game was done.
Sat in the new stand, excellent view - stairs aren't right though? especially with terrace planned. Hopefully that will be amended in the close season..
Also a massive well done to those who have worked on the pitch but Dan Barnes & Blakey in particular for their efforts, we have had an awful lot of rain but the pitch played well Saturday and last night. Well done guys.
If that game was played last year on the pitch it would have been called off at 9am.
PROGRESS!

264 was mentioned above, too.
But it looked a lot more than that to me - the blue and new stands were quite full, and in the second half the clubhouse end must have had 50-70 too.

I was standing in the Shed End in the 2nd half and i think it looked like about 25 or so standing in there including some AFC Bournemouth Fans

Is Ray Murphy back? Last I heard he had a post at Swindon.

Thanks for the corrected team sheet. I am told by a reliable source who wasn't at the match that a lot of Cherries' names on that team sheet were in their U21 side last season and that the No 3, Brad Smith, is a £6M player. I thought many of the Eastleigh performances were highly commendable and Ryan Broom looked quite sharp though he did tire second half. Re Tony's question, I see Ray Murphy is still listed as club secretary on the Swindon Town website (and Paul Reid still appears on the our website as the Eastleigh secretary). Perhaps Ray might have been working from home that day and was able to make it to Eastleigh.
