Poor old white men πππ What's skin colour got to do with it? I just don't see why someone should be better off than me just because they're called Janet & not John.

Are you going to complain to Sutton Utd?
It's a breach of the Sex Discrimination Act of 1975. From the Equality and Human Rights Commission: Service providers are not allowed to discriminate unlawfully when providing goods or services to people. Discrimination when providing services means: - refusing to provide a service - providing a lower standard of service - offering a service on different terms than you would to other people. If an organisation provides a service to consumers, it also needs to avoid discrimination in how it provides that service. This includes discrimination on the grounds of: - disability - gender - race - religion or belief - sexual orientation This applies to all organisations that provide goods, facilities or services to the public, whether paid for or free, and no matter how large or small they are. For example, a nightclub runs ladiesβ nights where women receive free drinks, two-for-one offers or free admission. This is sex discrimination.

Dale Vince at Forest Green has been discriminating for a while against people who eat meat.

I'm sure its done in the best possible taste (as Kenny E would say) but it is a truly pathetic, blatant and sexist scheme which needs stopping asap. No sector should ever get in for free over another. I don't even agree with discounts for 'young adults' and 'seniors' as they often have more disposable cash than the working family man of 40 with two kids and a mortgage.

Not just about a moan I suggest, just the little fact that discrimination at any level is illegal.

I believe that Guiseley tried something similar against Tranmere in 2016 on International Ladies Day.
Positive action is permitted under the law, but positive discrimination is not and I am not sure where this would fall.
Like our free entry games the hope is presumably that some of them will come back and pay the full whack.
Certainly in the past we have offered free or reduced entry prices for schools or students when other people may be paying the full amount.

Sutton United FC clearly believe they are still living in the 1960s.
In contrast, the EFC schemes as mentioned above are certainly NOT discriminatory.

The Sutton fans have noted your comments.....personally, I think they make some reasonable points. Should intensify the atmosphere tomorrow, anyway! suttonunited.proboards.com/thread/9010/ladies-dayWonder what the Eastleigh FC Ladies' team think about the comments in this thread?

Well, I personally think we need more men at the following so Iβm expecting to get into these events free in the future: hockey, netball and equestrian events. I think men are also vastly under represented at yoga, Pilates and dance sessions so again, look forward to that changing in the future. I think we need also more teenagers at the world crown green bowls championship so obviously free admission for them too.
